It's another notch in Microsoft's belt, as the company managed to snag control of both XboxOne.com and XboxOne.net after filing a dispute with the National Arbitration Forum over the domains in May. The National Arbitration Forum is the official body that settles domain ownership disputes. "It appears only a single complaint was filed for both domains, which is allowed according to UDRP rules, if more than one domain being disputed is held by the same respondent, all of the names may be included in the same complaint. Rule 3(b)(vi)," the report stated. Neither site as of yet is in use by the company. The initial complaint was filed in late May, following Microsoft's official announcement of the Xbox One during a high-profile event at the company's headquarters in Redmond, Washington. It is believed that Microsoft did not register the XboxOne.com domain earlier because doing so could have given away the name of the company's next-generation console.
