Tales From The Borderlands , an episodic point-and-click adventure game developed by Telltale Games before it closed, is returning to digital stores next week. This was announced during The Borderlands Show, where Gearbox also confirmed the details and a release date for Borderlands 3's Director's Cut. The game was removed from digital stores as part of Telltale's shutdown, but the game is coming back to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 17. The game will be available with all five episodes in one package. This is the same game but with one change. Tales from the Borderlands returns to storefronts February 17! Set between Borderlands 2 and 3, Tales from the Borderlands follows the stories of Rhys, a Hyperion suit, and Fiona, a con artist, on a quest borne of greed but destined for greatness. pic.twitter.com/6L1O5fTm0i — Borderlands 3 (@Borderlands) February 10, 2021 For the original release, the end of each episode would end with a "choice comparison" screen that … [Read more...] about Tales From The Borderlands Returns To Digital Stores Next Week With One Key Change

The Last of Us 2’s Abby face model cosplays as the character and nails it
We’ve seen a lot of cosplays from The Last of Us 2 but this Abby cosplay may just be the best one yet. Jocelyn Mettler, who was the face model for Abby in Naughty Dog’s wildly successful 2020 hit, decided to cosplay the character last Halloween and one of the shots has resurfaced on Reddit. Reddit user u/RipErRiley shared a snap of Mettler as Abby into the r/thelastofus subreddit with the caption “TIL that the face model for Abby did a cosplay for Abby”. The original photos were posted to Jocelyn’s instagram account and feature the character lifting weights, clutching a gun with her signature backpack, and eating a burrito. All whilst sporting what looks like a muscle suit under her clothes. A post shared by Jocelyn Mettler (@jocelynmettlervfx) A photo posted by on Although Jocelyn provided Abby’s face, the character’s body was actually based on athlete Colleen Fotsch, and she was portrayed by voice-over actor Laura Bailey , who we recently … [Read more...] about The Last of Us 2’s Abby face model cosplays as the character and nails it
Telltale’s superb Tales from the Borderlands finally returns to stores next week
Telltale Games' wonderful Tales from the Borderlands, a deliriously daft narrative adventure inspired by Gearbox's popular series of first-person shooters, will finally return to digital storefronts next Wednesday, 17th February, following its delisting in the middle of 2019. Tales from the Borderlands originally released in 2014 , and, for my money at least, is easily the best thing Telltale ever made. It smoothes off the mainline Borderlands series' more abrasive edges to deliver a genuinely funny, and surprisingly touching, five-episode adventure focusing on Hyperion employee Rhys (played by Troy Baker) and Pandoran con-artist Fiona (Fiona Bailey) as they attempt to locate and open a Vault. It follows Telltales' usual cinematic narrative adventure formula, but nails it on just about every front, with bags of style and wit, a surprisingly gripping plot, an immensely likeable cast of characters, brilliant set-pieces, and, oh yes, not one but five of the most joyously memorable … [Read more...] about Telltale’s superb Tales from the Borderlands finally returns to stores next week
Who is the engineer in WandaVision? A look at the leading candidates from Marvel’s past (and future)
Beyond WandaVision's big cameo in episode 5 , one blink-and-you'll-miss-it mystery still remains. While trying to find out the truth behind Westview, SWORD's Monica Rambeau decided to draft in some much-needed help in the form of an "engineer" she's chummy with. But, outside of a quick close up on the phone she used to text them, we're still none the wiser as to who it might be. Marvel has a long, long history of superheroes and civilians capable in science, as well as those adept at tinkering with technology. While Monica specifically mentioned it was an engineer of the aerospace variety in her powwow with Randal Park's Jimmy Woo and Kat Dennings' Darcy Lewis, the field is still pretty wide open when it comes to the identity of the unnamed engineer. But it's got to be someone familiar, right? From the MCU's Mightiest Heroes to those we've yet to meet – here are the five most likely candidates. Reed Richards The Fantastic Four are officially coming to the MCU at some … [Read more...] about Who is the engineer in WandaVision? A look at the leading candidates from Marvel’s past (and future)
Adam Sessler And Kevin Pereira Are Back At G4
When G4 returns later this year, it will be in more than just name. Original X-Play host Adam Sessler and Attack of the Show's Kevin Pereira are both coming along for the ride, and their shows will be back, too. They're joining a group of new hosts that includes WWE superstar Xavier Woods, and you can expect to see many classic G4 segments when the shows are revived. In a press release, Adam Sessler specifically mentioned his "Sessler's Soapbox" segment making a return, as well as opinions on the latest gaming news and, of course, reviews. We give that news a five … out of five. Sessler had been unceremoniously fired from the network in 2013 , later joining the site Rev3Games before then doing consulting and strategy for media. According to Sessler, he was never given a reason for his termination, but it looks like things were smoothed over. His co-host Morgan Webb was not mentioned in the new announcement, but she has been employed by game developer Bonfire Studios since 2017. … [Read more...] about Adam Sessler And Kevin Pereira Are Back At G4
