There are always new discoveries to be made in Animal Crossing: New Horizons , as one fan found out whilst visiting a dream island. Shared in the r/AnimalCrossing subreddit, user u/Lady_Gwyn came across some Orville dialogue which many of us hadn’t noticed before. When visiting a dream island - another player’s island which has been uploaded online for others to explore - u/Lady_Gwyn spoke to Dodo Airlines employee Orville who became very confused by the player’s appearance due to not arriving on the island in the traditional way. Special dream dialogue from Orville! Wasn’t aware this was possible. from r/AnimalCrossing When addressed by a visiting player, Orville says “Welcome! Oh, wow… you’re here from another island, aren’t ya?” He then tries to rationalize how you came to visit the island if not via his airline with “How could someone fly here without an airplane? OH! Of course. They must have swam here!” Who’s going to be the one to tell Orville that he is … [Read more...] about Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan finds new Orville dialogue in game

Who is the engineer in WandaVision? A look at the leading candidates from Marvel’s past (and future)
Beyond WandaVision's big cameo in episode 5 , one blink-and-you'll-miss-it mystery still remains. While trying to find out the truth behind Westview, SWORD's Monica Rambeau decided to draft in some much-needed help in the form of an "engineer" she's chummy with. But, outside of a quick close up on the phone she used to text them, we're still none the wiser as to who it might be. Marvel has a long, long history of superheroes and civilians capable in science, as well as those adept at tinkering with technology. While Monica specifically mentioned it was an engineer of the aerospace variety in her powwow with Randal Park's Jimmy Woo and Kat Dennings' Darcy Lewis, the field is still pretty wide open when it comes to the identity of the unnamed engineer. But it's got to be someone familiar, right? From the MCU's Mightiest Heroes to those we've yet to meet – here are the five most likely candidates. Reed Richards The Fantastic Four are officially coming to the MCU at some … [Read more...] about Who is the engineer in WandaVision? A look at the leading candidates from Marvel’s past (and future)
Dicebreaker Recommends: Fog of Love, a board game about roleplaying relationships that’s all heart
Dicebreaker Recommends is a series of monthly board game, RPG and other tabletop recommendations from our friends at our sibling site, Dicebreaker . If you're of a certain age, you might remember filling out online compatibility tests as a lovestruck teen. You know, the sorts of viral "tag three friends" Myspace posts and Buzzfeed quizzes that would tell you whether you and your beloved were made to be based on your favourite film, which side of the bed you sleep and whether you put cream then jam or vice-versa. (The only correct answer is jam then cream, of course, but that's an argument for another time.) Fog of Love is a board game that wraps the central "Are we meant to be?" question of those compatibility tests' in an affecting experience that's part roleplaying game, part Werewolf-esque hidden role game and part min-maxing resource-management puzzle. But while individual parts can be compared to other games, Fog of Love is an experience quite unlike anything else on the … [Read more...] about Dicebreaker Recommends: Fog of Love, a board game about roleplaying relationships that’s all heart
The best Zelda games: Eurogamer editors’ choice
You've already had your say on the very best Zelda games as we celebrate the series' 30th anniversary - and you did a mighty fine job too, even if I'm fairly sure A Link to the Past belongs at the head of any list - so now it's our turn. We asked the Eurogamer editorial team to vote for their favourite Zelda games (though Wes abstained because he still doesn't know what a Nintendo is) and below you'll find the full top ten, along with some of our own musings. Can we get the games in their rightful order? Probably not... 10. A Link Between Worlds How brilliantly contradictory that one of the best original games on Nintendo's 3DS would be a 2D adventure game, and that one of the most daring Zelda entries would be the one that so closely aped one of its predecessors. It helps, of course, that the template was lifted from one of the greatest games in the series and, by extension, one of the finest games of all time. There's an endearing breeziness to A Link to the Past, a … [Read more...] about The best Zelda games: Eurogamer editors’ choice
Warzone in Cold War: Season 2 is two games for the price of none
There are two different Warzones at this point, with very different volume settings. Verdansk is a slow crescendo, like the main theme Nine Inch Nails wrote for Black Ops II, with unexpected spikes of sound that build to a dramatic climax. Rebirth Island is more like the Nine Inch Nails theme for Quake : a wash of white noise and screaming that begins the moment you touch down, and only quietens once you’re sat atop a pile of bodies—or become one of the bodies yourself. Over its opening weekend, Cold War: Season 2 has only pushed these two poles further apart. Rebirth Island’s default Resurgence mode —which lets players quickly respawn on their teammates, so long as one is still alive—has been temporarily replaced by an even faster and bloodier variant. Named Resurgence Extreme, in apparent recognition that it might all be a bit much, the current mode must be the design of a budget airline: cramming extra seats onto an already packed plane, and leaving the tiny Aral … [Read more...] about Warzone in Cold War: Season 2 is two games for the price of none
