Multiple Silent Hill projects, including a Silent Hill 2 remake, are rumoured to be in the works. Sleepless nights could be back on the cards, with various sources hinting that the Silent Hill series is set to return. Last week, a series of images, allegedly from a new Silent Hill game, emerged on Twitter. These were rather hastily removed by the social media giant "in response to a report from the copyright holder". This copyright claim suggests that the Silent Hill leak could be credible , and now others have emerged seemingly with knowledge about the series' future plans. Yesterday, Twitter user NateTheHate2 tweeted that Bloober Team is currently working on a Silent Hill 2 remake. Horror fans are likely no strangers to the Polish developers' back catalogue, which includes Blair Witch, a game set two years after the events of the iconic 1999 movie, and Observer, a psychological horror starring a detective who can interrogate people by hacking into their brains. … [Read more...] about “Multiple” Silent Hill projects are reportedly in the works, including a Silent Hill 2 remake

Multiple Silent Hill Projects Are Rumored To Be In Development
Silent Hill rumors continue to swirl. Following last week's leaked Silent Hill art , journalist Jeff Grub and leaker NateTheHate2 took to Twitter to comment on two pieces of information they've heard from sources. The first is that Konami is likely working on multiple Silent Hill Games--including a mainline title and side "stories." The second allegedly confirms Bloober Team's involvement in a Silent Hill title--Silent Hill 2 Remake. The remake will receive reworked puzzles, new endings, and could possibly be a timed PlayStation exclusive. This is the stuff I've heard, and it comes from multiple different sources. Not all of my sources are primary, but everything is mostly lining up. To me, the biggest indicator is the stuff I've seen lines up with Konami doing a big reveal at E3 last year before it pulled out. https://t.co/GzUb3jzrwX — Jeff Grubb (@JeffGrubb) May 16, 2022 VGC also says that its sources support such claims. Bloober Team has long been rumored to … [Read more...] about Multiple Silent Hill Projects Are Rumored To Be In Development
Lost Ark Battle For The Throne Of Chaos Update Adds Battle Pass, New Class: Full Patch Notes
Lost Ark's Battle For the Throne of Chaos update arrives today, and it's the biggest update to Smilegate RPG and Amazon's free-to-play MMORPG yet, adding a new class, a battle pass, a new continent, numerous quality-of-life updates, and more. As detailed in the official patch notes , the new martial artist advanced class, the Glaivier, is the highlight. It's the first new class added to the Western version of Lost Ark since release. Wielding both a spear and a glaive, the Glaivier can swap between the two weapons with the press of a button, and each weapon has its own unique abilities and strengths. The glaive excels at clearing out huge groups of enemies, while the spear is ideal for poking down bosses. Of course, the Glaivier isn't the only new addition coming to Lost Ark as part of the Battle for the Throne of Chaos update. The new patch will also see the addition of the South Vern continent, where a demon army is amassing at the titular Throne of Chaos, which serves as a … [Read more...] about Lost Ark Battle For The Throne Of Chaos Update Adds Battle Pass, New Class: Full Patch Notes

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – the story behind the biggest game of the year
Everything was Uncharted. You’ll have seen the jokes, no doubt – the ones that pointed out how many games at E3 2012 seemed to be based on an external interpretation of the Naughty Dog design document. That show brought a host of linear games built on tightly scripted spectacle, sacrificing player agency for the whims of a stubborn author. The complaint was aimed at other developers, at an industry in thrall to the cookie cutter, but it stung Naughty Dog by extension as well. Many of those games have since turned out to be nothing like Uncharted. At December’s PlayStation Experience (PSX) event, filmed live in Vegas and streamed around the world, Naughty Dog suggested Uncharted 4 wasn’t, in the E3 2012 pejorative sense of the term, very Uncharted either. Over the course of a day inside the Santa Monica studio, we are shown the proof of it. Within half an hour, game director Bruce Straley has summed it up perfectly. “There’s no one golden path,” he tells us. “It’s not just as simple as … [Read more...] about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – the story behind the biggest game of the year
Origins of Marvel Comics by Stan Lee is Marvel Comics’ autobiography
Every superhero has a great origin story. Marvel Comics has its own as well. In 1974, mighty Marvel had been ticking along for about 13 years and had already enjoyed great success, supplanting DC as the top publisher and getting its characters on Saturday morning cartoons and a variety of licensed products. But Marvel still wasn't mainstream. It was kid stuff, or kid stuff-plus, roping in a decent-sized college audience. It still hadn't cracked the comic book ceiling and pushed into mainstream success. That changed in 1974 with the publication of Origins of Marvel Comics , a book published not by Marvel, but rather by main-street giant Simon & Schuster. Origins changed the game, and laid a foundation still felt today. Just how big was it? Consider: The book was published by Simon & Schuster in 1974, and by January 1975 Marvel publisher and spiritual figurehead Stan Lee was already touting that the book was in a second printing and that Simon … [Read more...] about Origins of Marvel Comics by Stan Lee is Marvel Comics’ autobiography
How to beat the Evil Dead game Mission 3, Kill ‘Em All
The Evil Dead game Mission 3, Kill 'Em All, is an incredibly hard challenge, in which the Army of Darkness Ash must conquer three separate waves of enemies with little more than a lever-action rifle and whatever he can find. Warzone Operation Monarch is the king of all LTMs
Noxious green gas nips at my ankles, bullets whiz past my head, and a rumbling that resembles the sound of an oncoming tornado puts my heart in my throat. I go prone and desperately try to reload my LMG, which takes up far too much of my precious little time – the gas is encroaching. I slam the clip into position and get ready to run for an outcropping of rocks about 50 yards ahead of me, but just when I stand up to make my move, a piercing, otherworldly scream shakes my very skeleton and an impossibly bright streak of bluish-white light slices through the air in front of me. It's the last thing I see before it all goes dark. This is typical for a round of Warzone Operation Monarch , Call of Duty's best ever limited-time event. In it, Warzone Pacific is invaded by Godzilla and Kong, and you are but a lowly foot soldier scrambling around their titanic feet like a helpless little ant. I haven't had this much fun in Warzone in months, and I haven't encountered a crossover event that … [Read more...] about Warzone Operation Monarch is the king of all LTMs
