Chris Pratt is headed back to TV with a new military-themed show called The Terminal List based on Jack Carr's novel, and now the program has added another star. Taylor Kitsch (John Carter, True Detective) has joined the cast of the show, according to Deadline . It's directed by action movie veteran Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Shooter, Olympus Has Fallen). The show is written by Strange Angel's David DiGilio. The Terminal List will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime. Pratt will play the character James Reece. On his final deployment in combat, Reece's entire Navy SEAL team was killed in an ambush. He returns home only to learn that the attack was, in fact, part of a conspiracy with connections all the way to the top of the government. Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Donald Glover are set to star in reboot series based on the 2005 movie Mr. And Mrs. Smith. The show will be produced by Amazon and arrives in 2022. As reported by Variety , Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) and Glover (Solo, Atlanta) will play married assassins who are both hired to kill each other. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt played the roles in the movie, which was directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) and made over $487 million at the worldwide box office. In a statement, Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke said, "Talk about the dream team! Donald and Phoebe are two of the most talented creators and performers in the world. The upcoming Halo TV show was originally going to premiere on ViacomCBS channel Showtime; however, the series has been moved to Paramount+--ViacomCBS's rebranded CBS All Access streaming service. Halo will still be produced by Showtime. For years, a Halo show has been in production, but we've never known too much about it. Showtime and Halo game developer 343 Industries have been filming the series in Budapest, and we know that Pablo Schreiber (Orange is the New Black) is playing Master Chief, the game's starring character. Besides Schreiber, the show has a large announced cast, including Jen Taylor as Cortana. Taylor originally wasn't playing Cortana in the show, so the news that she would indeed be the voice in Master Chief's ear once again came as a pleasant surprise for fans. Former WWE superstar and multi-time world champion Paul Wight---aka the Big Show--has signed with AEW as a commentator for its newest YouTube show, AEW Dark: Elevation, which premieres Monday on AEW's YouTube channel. "It's been amazing to watch what AEW has built in just a couple of years," said Wight in a statement. "AEW Dark is an incredible platform to hone the skills of up-and-coming wrestlers, but I also love that established AEW talent can build out their personalities and showcase themselves in new ways on Dark." Wight, a Grand Slam Champion, had been with WWE since February of 1999 and has a storied career with matches up against contemporary legends like Triple H, the Rock, Stone Cold, and Undertaker.
