Like most of 2020, Genshin Impact's launch feels like yesterday and also 20 years ago, so it's wild to think that I've already put this much time into it. I'm certainly not going to stop playing it anytime soon, and I'll continue spending a bit of money on it to grease the wheels and support the game. I still recommend Genshin to everyone and their dog, so I hope this breakdown is helpful for players who may be turned off by the divide between free-to-play diehards and whales with deep pockets.
