Nintendo Switch is currently the console that everyone wants to own but can’t find a solid reason to do so. Giving you the opportunity to play your favorite games in both handheld and docked mode but taking away features like net browsing or video watching, fans are torn between Nintendo Switch’s use. After claims that Nintendo’s next firmware will bring such features to your console everyone started digging and getting excited, but, apparently, this was all just a hoax. Two days ago, a video emerged on Youtube claiming it shows the Nintendo Switch Firmware 5.0 in action. The interface looks amazing, themes, internet browser, cloud service, applications like Youtube and Twitch- All were there. Nintendo Switch Adds Another Ton Of New Eshop Games This Week
More games are out now for Nintendo Switch. It's another busy week for the hybrid console; a total of 20 titles arrive on the Eshop, the bulk of which released for the system on December 14.Among the games available this week is Yooka-Laylee, the Banjo-Kazooie-style 3D platformer by Playtonic Games. The game makes its Switch debut several months after it released for other platforms, and it comes with all of the updates and improvements Playtonic rolled out recently, such as a new camera system and improved controls. The Switch version also boasts custom achievements, and up to four players can play Yooka-Laylee's mini-games using a single Joy-Con each. Nintendo Switch Will See Dinosaur Gardening Game Birthdays The Beginnings
All your cube gardening and dinosaur needs are about the be met. PS4 and PC title Birthdays the Beginning is coming to Nintendo Switch--but under a new name.Due in Japan on March 29, Birthdays the Beginnings will launch on Switch as Happy Birthdays, according to Siliconera. The updated portable version of the title will include fixes to the game's navigation so it's a little easier to play and understand, and new characters. The original title is essentially a casual gardening game where players create a cube garden and raise various chibi-esque prehistoric creatures. It's from the mind of the man behind Harvest Moon, Yasuhiro Wada. Xeno Crisis Smashes Stretch Goal, Opening Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch and PC
It’s not too often that you see a brand new Sega Mega Drive game (with cartridge!) in this day and age — even with the advent of Kickstarter projects. However, that is exactly what UK-based developer Bitmap Bureau is hoping to do with Xeno Crisis. And now, thanks to a new stretch goal milestone the games may be making it out to some current gen consoles as well — namely PC (via Steam) and the Nintendo Switch. For those who haven’t heard of the Kickstarter campaign, Xeno Crisis is an old-school, co-op top-down shooting game that draws inspiration from 80’s and 90’s titles like Contra and Shock Troopers. But that isn’t where the 80’s inspiration ends, because originally the game was only planned to release physically for Sega Mega Drive, Sega Genesis, or digital versions for emulators.
