Rainbow Six Siege Update Brings Fuze Back To Test Server, Implements Bug Fix For Flores

· March 2, 2021 ·

Ubisoft has released a new patch for Rainbow Six Siege , which adds Fuze back to the PC test server, after the character was temporarily removed for a crashing bug. The patch also implements several bug fixes. Fuze was removed from all Siege playlists (except for Custom) via an update on February 26. Picking the operator was causing an issue that would make Siege crash. The bug attached to the operator is now supposedly fixed, though Ubisoft is keeping him on the test server for now. The company hasn't given a timeline for when Fuze will rejoin the full game on all platforms. As mentioned before, the patch also fixes several in-game bugs. Among them is a bug that was affecting Flores, Siege's latest operator, who was added in Year 6, Season 1: Crimson Heist. The patch fixes a bug that prevented players from hearing Flores' RCE-Ratero Charges going off on the other side of a wall. The full patch notes are listed below. Valheim Update: Dedicated Server Upgrades And Wolves Are Less Likely To Make Babies

· March 2, 2021 ·

A new patch is available now for the hit Norse multiplayer game Valheim . Among a handful of smaller changes, it makes a big change for dedicated servers and also tweaks the game balance so wolves are less horny. Starting with the dedicated servers, this new update makes it so dedicated servers now always use direct connections instead of using the Steam Datagram Relay (SDR) system. "This should result in much lower latency for most players," developer Iron Gate said. "I really hope this patch solves a lot of connection issues introduced in last weeks patches (due to switching socket backend)," the studio said. Elsewhere, the March 2 update for Valheim contains a change that makes wolves less likely to mate. The patch notes state that the update "lowered wolf procreation slightly." The developers apparently thought there was something wrong with wolves making cubs more than they should, so wolves are slightly less horny now, to borrow a phrase from PCGamer . Amazon Launches GameOn App On iOS

· March 2, 2021 ·

GameOn, Amazon's mobile gaming capture app, has come to iOS after dropping on Android last November, and Amazon is looking to make it big. As reported by TechCrunch , the app allows users to capture gameplay clips from mobile games, which can then be saved to a library and posted publicly on the GameOn sharing platform. Despite also being owned by Amazon, GameOn is completely separate to Twitch, with different branding and seperate user accounts. With in-built capture, editing tools, and a public highlight feed, GameOn looks to be more like a gaming-specific take on TikTok than it is a mobile version of Twitch. Clips made within GameOn are also designed to be shared outside the app "via social media services or by sending direct links to friends." Amazon is hoping to build its userbase by partnering with streamers who will focus on mobile gaming content for the app. It's also publicizing a series of "weekly challenges" for GameOn users, with the winners gaining more exposure on … [Read more...] about Amazon Launches GameOn App On iOS
