Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will welcome Pyra and Mythra as its latest DLC fighters later today, bringing in the two-in-one living weapons from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai announced the news in an extended breakdown for the new characters, coming just about two weeks after they were first announced in February's long-awaited Nintendo Direct presentation . The roughly 35-minute video presentation gives you a thorough look at how the two characters play, channeling their respective powers of Fire and Light to power their abilities, and it also gives you a look at their accompanying stage: the Cloud Sea of Alrest. Since the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Mario update , players have been getting creative with how they use the Super Mario items on their island. Reddit user u/VictoryRoles has shared their genius idea of keeping one Warp Pipe stationed in their home and carrying another around with them in their pockets. Players will no longer have to race back to their home to pick up something from their inventory with this savvy Warp Pipe trick. Another user, u/Chikachuuu , has used the pipes to create their own subway line which incorporates terraforming, inclines, and two perfectly placed warp pipes to create the illusion of traveling underground to the other side of their island. No Man's Sky: Origins is set to go live today. It's perhaps the most impactful expansion the space sim has enjoyed since its launch, introducing a whole host of changes to the underlying procedural generation in an effort to breathe new life to its universe. AMD has officially unveiled the speeds and feeds of its latest GPU, the Radeon RX 6700 XT . It transpires that the rumours were right on this one, and there's only a single GPU on the way, not the usual XT and non-XT variants. AMD also provided a few benchmarks to get our heads around. The first slide to feature benchmarks had comparisons against the GTX 1070 Ti and the RTX 20870 Super, which had us worried about how it would fair against more recent releases, but thankfully it quickly followed this up with comparisons to the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and the RTX 3070 . That first slide does show how far we've come though, and AMD is at least definitely in the game at this stage. The fact it has a GPU that can beat the RTX 2080 Super at 1440p is nothing to be sniffed at.
