John Boyega may be getting ready for his swansong as Finn in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but he’s also been sharing his opinions on the divisive eighth episode in a galaxy far, far away.Boyega revealed in an interview with Hype Beast that he didn’t agree with some of the decisions made in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, especially compared to its predecessor: “The Force Awakens I think was the beginning of something quite solid, The Last Jedi, if I'm being honest, I'd say that was feeling a bit iffy for me.”While Boyega doesn’t get into specifics, he explains, “I didn't necessarily agree with a lot of the choices in that,” while hinting it may have had something to do with the major characters being kept apart through much of the movie. “It was hard for all of us, because we were separated,” he says, perhaps referring to Daisy Ridley’s Rey spending the majority of the movie on Ahch-To with Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker … [Read more...] about Star Wars actor John Boyega says he doesn’t agree with a lot of the choices made in The Last Jedi

Spider-Man PS4 Breaks Sony Game Sales Records
Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Sony sold lots of Spider-Man. Cash registers go cha-ching. Revenue more than Homecoming. Watch out! It's payday for Spider-Man.USA Today reports that Sony sold 3.3 million copies of Marvel's Spider-Man within the first three days of release, setting a new sales record. That edges out the prior record of 3.1 million in the first three days set by God of War earlier this year. Pre-orders were a record-setter as well, at one million copies. This figure doesn't account for sales of the PlayStation 4 Pro bundle that included a specially painted console and a copy of the game.As the report notes, the retail price of $60 would translate to roughly $198 million in revenue, which actually tops the $117 million opening weekend box office for Spider-Man Homecoming. Not all of the copies would have sold for exactly $60, so the actual figure could be a bit less. Plus the comparison is a little skewed given that movie tickets cost significantly less than a new video game, but … [Read more...] about Spider-Man PS4 Breaks Sony Game Sales Records

OK, this is one of the best cheap PS4 Pro deals we're likely to see - ever. And you'll want to get right on it if you haven't got one already, or would consider an upgrade to Sony's premium console: it looks like the price of the Pro has been slashed at multiple retailers in the UK, going down to about £250. The best offerings are at Currys, where prices across its PS4 Pro range have been slashed by a significant amount. This covers a broad range of bundles with games (really recent games) and the console itself in both white or black. And there are some banging bundles to choose from; we've highlighted a few here. Finally: Square Realizes Final Fantasies Should Be On PC
Home • PC Game News • 97 Nathan Grayson Contributor 20th February 2014 / 11:00AM The PC is not entirely bereft of Big Hair And Superfluous Zippers: The Neverending (Candy) Saga, which is sometimes colloquially referred to as “Final Fantasy.” The series’ MMO entries, FFXI and FFXIV, got their starts here, and PlayStation One classics FFVII and FFVIII recently received refurbished Steam ports. That majority of numbered Final Fantasy games, however, have stuck to the realm of buttons, thumbsticks, and cameras that have yet to change gaming in any meaningful way. But that might be changing sooner rather than later. Very late to the party but nonetheless welcome, Square Enix has finally realized that maybe people kinda like playing games on their PCs after all. Speaking with Eurogamer, Final Fantasy producer Yoshinori Kitase explained his company’s renewed interest in PC: “Let’s not forget, when we developed … [Read more...] about Finally: Square Realizes Final Fantasies Should Be On PC
