You may not have known this, but today, February 9, is National Pizza Day. I'm not making that up: It's included in Wikipedia's " List of Food Days ," and the National Day Calendar acknowledges it as well, saying, "February 9th celebrates one of America’s all-time favorite foods. Whether it is thin crust, Chicago-style, deep dish, or anything in between, pizza is an American favorite." To mark the big day, Microsoft is giving away a pizza livery mod for the X-Cub single-prop plane in Microsoft Flight Simulator . Created by community member Matt987123, it's basically an opportunity to write "PIZZA" down the side of your plane in big block letters, while adorning the fuselage and stabilizer with a stylized cheese-and-pepperoni motif—the sort of thing you might expect from a Domino's delivery plane, if they had such things. The enhanced version of the 2013 Wii U game, Super Mario 3D World , drops on February 12 for Nintendo Switch. Ahead of its release, reviews of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury have begun circulating, and we've rounded up a list of some of them to give fans an idea of what critics think of the enhanced port, which includes Amiibo support and online multiplayer. The game currently holds a 90 on GameSpot sister site Metacritic. Our own Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury review awarded the enhanced port a 9/10, with associate editor Steve Watts calling it "a spectacular package" that shows the "full extent of versatility in what a Mario game can be." It's undeniably great that you can dress your plane up as a pizza in Microsoft Flight Simulator , but for anyone looking for a more substantial update, here's good news. World Update 3 , which will introduce new terrain and map data for the UK—England, Wales and Scotland—will release on February 16. The official Flight Sim Support Twitter account confirmed as much today. "The team is putting the finishing touches on all aspects of this massive update," it tweeted , "and we appreciate your continued patience." The update was initially scheduled for January 26 but was hit with a slight delay. Upon that announcement , Asobo confirmed it'll feature new aerials, five airports, over 70 new points of interest, and five new photogrammetry cities. It was the cities that caused the delay, though.
