TellTale Games gave fans their first real look at the final season of The Walking Dead during the studio’s San Diego Comic-Con Panel, showing off the season’s first 15 minutes. In the closing four episodes, Clementine will be aiming to retrofit an abandoned school into a new home – though any fans of The Walking Dead will harbor ill memories of prior settling attempts. After years of spilling blood and guts in a nomadic lifestyle, it seems like Clementine’s adventure will either end in two ways: the group will either finally have a home and a future to look forward to, or The Walking Dead will stay true to its name. Fans who want to jump into the fourth and final four episodes of the game may want to skip this preview, but others interesting in taking a glimpse at TellTale Games’ final craftmanship for this IP can take a gander below. The first 15 minutes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season is devoid of any major spoilers, but does show both Clementine … [Read more...] about The Walking Dead Releases Final Season’s First 15 Minutes of Gameplay

FORTNITE Season 5 has finally landed and Epic has introduced a new challenge structure that includes both free and premium tasks. One of the most difficult challenges this week for Battle Pass holders is the return of the treasure hunting task and here's the lowdown on what location the map will lead you to... Fortnite's Risky Reels challenge - where to find the treasure? Seasoned players now know that although the map may be located in Risky Reels, you won't be completing anything by heading there. The location you need is a large tunnel south of Tomato Town, specifically a small strip of land just above its entrance towards T-Town. The Akecheta Westworld episode proved the show doesn’t need twists to keep the show entertaining, just new voices
Westworld season 2, episode 8 is one of the most stunning pieces of television I’ve seen in a long, long time. Up there with some of the great episodes in an era filled with classics as far as the eye can see, Kiksuya changed the game when it came to Westworld season 2, and may have changed the landscape for many more shows beyond that. It’s proof that television’s old habits of twists and turns are no longer sustainable, and that new points-of-view are the way forward for the medium.Directed by Uta Briesewitz, co-written by Carly Wray, and starring Native American actor Zahn McClarnon along with a whole host of other Native American actors, the show already embraces a fresh way of thinking, but it was the way it unfolded in which it was truly revolutionary. There’s a moment early on in the episode where McClarnon’s character, Akecheta, zeroes in on Maeve’s daughter. We have been trained to believe from the show – and culture in general – … [Read more...] about The Akecheta Westworld episode proved the show doesn’t need twists to keep the show entertaining, just new voices
Westworld Season 2, Episode 3 Review: Finally, Something New
Westworld Season 2, Episode 3, "Virtù e Fortuna," featured the biggest battle in Westworld history, a sitar cover of The White Stripes' 2003 hit "Seven Nation Army," and some of the funniest moments in the whole series. But best of all, it finally showed us something new.It wasn't Shogun World, like we've been waiting to see since Westworld Season 1. But it was a new park: India World, or Empire World, or whatever it winds up being called, which appears to be set during the British Empire occupation of India, the time of big beige hats, Bengal tiger hunts, and elephant gun safaris. And the characters there, whoever they may be, had just as bad a time as those in Westworld when Ford kicked off his final game. This cold open also demonstrated where that tiger seen in the Season 2 premiere came from, and by the end we learned that the mysterious woman--a guest who clearly knows her way around the place--survived to claw her way out of the water. No doubt she'll pop up again, also … [Read more...] about Westworld Season 2, Episode 3 Review: Finally, Something New
Westworld Season 2, Episode 2 Review: Should Have Been The Premiere
Westworld Season 2, Episode 2, "Reunion," left me with one overwhelming feeling: I wish this had been the Season 2 premiere. Episode 2 had the exact right mix of exposition, flashback, action, and mystery that made Westworld Season 1 impossible to turn away from, and which the Season 2 premiere's 70 long minutes of weirdly paced setup lacked. At least we're back in the saddle now.The episode's opening, with Dolores in the real world, is a perfect example. This scene showed us new sides of both Dolores and Arnold, revealing that Dolores has actually seen the world outside the park before. And now she remembers; "I've been there before," she tells Teddy later in the ep. That's clearly going to come up later. There is one mystery here, depending how you read the scene: Is this really the outside world, or is it just another park? The exterior shots as Arnold leads Dolores across the street look uncanny, too clean, and filled with unnatural, robotic-looking people. The under-construction … [Read more...] about Westworld Season 2, Episode 2 Review: Should Have Been The Premiere
