BILLIONAIRE Sir James Dyson is one of Britain’s most successful inventors. After revolutionising the vacuum cleaning industry, the Brit businessman has invested £2billion into an electric car project. Who is James Dyson and what is his net worth? Born in Norfolk in 1947, Sir James Dyson is worth a whopping $5.2billion, according to Forbes. After studying at art school, Dyson developed his best known product - the bagless cleaner. The inventor had grown frustrated at the loss of suction of his household vacuum when it sucked up dirt. He developed the “G-Force” cleaner in 1983 using cyclonic separation technology already used in saw mills. But the product was not an instant success in the UK as major manufacturers would not buy it because they were worried it would be kill the lucrative cleaner bag market. Sony’s PlayStation celebrates its 25th anniversary next December. Of course, Sony has never been one for dragging its feet, so the company has already kicked off its birthday celebration with a commemorative mini-PlayStation console crammed full of 20 games. Some of those selections make perfect sense — if you’re out to make huge stacks of cash, you’re obviously going to include Final Fantasy 7 — while others ... well, let’s just say that Battle Arena Toshinden wasn’t all that remarkable back in 1995, and time hasn’t been especially kind to it. I’m not necessarily saying these are the games that should have been on the PlayStation Classic, but ... these are the games that should have been on the PlayStation … [Read more...] about The 20 best PlayStation 1 games

Next Thursday on September 20, both the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080Ti will replace the GTX 1080 and GTX 1080Ti as Nvidia’s top dog bestest best graphics cards – and the great thing is I can now finally tell you about all the other cool stuff they can do besides their fancy ray-tracing reflection gubbins. When he left a few years later to form an independent studio, Q Entertainment, that number dropped to around 17. With his current setup, the number has sunk as far as it can go: Mizuguchi is the only full-time employee. His story isn’t a fall from grace, though. His latest game, musical shooter Rez Infinite, was one of the top-rated early VR titles, made money and won multiple awards. And the team that worked on it wasn’t as small as the numbers suggest — most just weren’t full-time. Mizuguchi is part of a growing group of game developers experimenting with a different way of working, a sort of extreme version of outsourcing. He runs what some call a “concept team,” a small, independent group that generates game ideas and designs, and then partners … [Read more...] about Directing from the sidelines
