Lost Ark is set to receive some major content updates over the next two months, including two new classes previously released in the Korean version of the game . Those two classes making their way into the Western version of Lost Ark are the Glaivier, a female Martial Artist who wields a spear and glaive, and the Destroyer, a male Warrior class who dishes out damage with a massive hammer. The Glaivier will come in April while the Destroyer will be released in May, according to an Amazon blog post outlining Lost Ark's upcoming content roadmap. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel Called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – Report
The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will reportedly be called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, according to Grubbsnax host Jeff Grubb. At the end of the May 12, 2022 Grubbsnax episode , a viewer guessed the title of the game as part of a guessing game Grubb had been playing with his chat. Once the correct title was guessed, Grubb asked if someone had told them that before confirming that the title he's heard for the game is indeed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Spoilers for the end of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order below. If the title is true, it would be an appropriate one. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order followed Cal Kestis, one of the sole remaining Jedi after the Great Purge nearly wiped them out. After hiding for five years, Cal re-emerges and embarks on a journey that sees him come face-to-face with Darth Vader by the end. Disney Dreamlight Valley Is More Than Animal Crossing In Mickey Mouse Ears
When Disney Dreamlight Valley was announced , I found its intersecting parts of Disney, the farm-life sim genre, and a free-to-play model to be exciting. With a fair in-game economy and gameplay that keep genre fans coming back, the Animal Crossing-like could have the potential to become a hit with players of all ages--but that microtransaction question loomed large. After spending an hour with the Gameloft development team and checking out a hands-off demo, I'm heartened to have seen a pay model without uncomfortable caveats, making me more confident Dreamlight Valley will be well populated by fans of the genre and brand alike. On the surface, Dreamlight Valley appears to be your typical farm-life sim--even its name seems determined to recall imagery of Stardew Valley, one of the genre's most beloved games. I arrived to my demo wanting to find out if this other valley could provide a similar mix of relaxing gameplay mechanics such as farming, mining, and socializing. It does … [Read more...] about Disney Dreamlight Valley Is More Than Animal Crossing In Mickey Mouse Ears

I tried a $12 gaming mouse and didn’t hate it
PC gaming accessories can regularly run you into three-figure prices, but for all the flashy marketing, futuristic sensor names, and "revolutionary" switch revisions, a gaming mouse can only do so much for the everyday player. I've had my hands on plenty of the best gaming mouse models lining the shelves, but when I stumbled upon a pointer that came in at just $11.99 / £12.99, I was intrigued. What are we actually gaining by spending over $100 / £100 on a clicker, and how would a super cheap gaming mouse actually compare? Into the basket it went, and I've just spent two days playing and working exclusively with the Havit RGB Gaming Mouse. So, do you need to spend more than $15 on a rodent? No - but also, yes. I'll explain. Havit gaming mouse | $11.99 / £12.99 at Amazon The Havit gaming mouse carries a particularly budget-friendly price tag. At well under $15 / £15, it's an excellent in-between option, or a cheap pointer for anyone looking to play casually … [Read more...] about I tried a $12 gaming mouse and didn’t hate it
Diablo III Q&A: The Diablo Mouse and Exploring Lore
While a lucky few Diablo III fans have been able to get a hands-on feel for the long-anticipated sequel with the recent beta, those who missed out on keys have only the game's nebulous "when it's done" 2012 shipping date to look forward to. We recently chatted with Diablo III's lead world designer, Leonard Boyarsky, about different methods of storytelling, why hindsight doesn't always matter, and the Diablo mouse. World Of Warcraft Is Getting A Social Contract In Patch 9.2.5
World of Warcraft's upcoming patch 9.2.5 for its current Shadowlands expansion will introduce a number of changes to Blizzard's MMO, among them a social contract that players will need to accept upon logging in for the first time once the update is live. The new contract is now fully visible on the game's public test realm (via Wowhead ), where players need to scroll down to the button of the contract and accept it or exit the game entirely. While the contract certainly outlines behavior that is against the game's terms of service, such as hate speech, harassment, in-game advertising, and other "disruptive" behaviors, it also encourages players to play as a team, make friends, and help answer questions new players may have. As the contract is currently on the PTR, it is subject to change. "It's a big world out there, with all sorts of people in it," the current contract states. "So please try to be respectful of each other, and if you ever feel like somebody is acting against the … [Read more...] about World Of Warcraft Is Getting A Social Contract In Patch 9.2.5
New Steam Deck update finally gets highly requested performance settings
The latest Steam Deck update has added a feature that lets players easily adjust the performance settings depending on what game they’re playing. As revealed in the latest Steam Deck update patch notes , players can now set up game-specific performance settings via the Quick Access Menu. What this means is that rather than going through and changing the performance settings of the Valve handheld each time you want to change them, you can instead set up custom performance profiles for each game you play. For example, you could have a game-specific profile made up of high-performance settings for the games you want to experience at their best or a lower spec profile for a game that isn’t as demanding. According to the patch notes, each game booted up on the console will use the system performance settings by default, so it’s up to players to decide if they want to create these custom profiles and when they want to use each profile they’ve set up. This is just one of … [Read more...] about New Steam Deck update finally gets highly requested performance settings
