Red Dead Redemption 2 is shaping up to be one of the best-looking games of this console generation. As showcased in this week’s gameplay trailer, Rockstar is set to push the PS4 and Xbox One to their limits, with the game’s open-world American Old West setting making full use of both systems’ capabilities. It also features fully-rendered, fully-realized, fully-engorged horse testicles. If you enjoyed the original Red Dead Redemption but the absence of horse bollocks stifled your sense of immersion, then you’ll be pleased with this addition to RDR2. Amid all the new characters, overhauled combat, and brand new features such as being able to verbally defuse confrontations instead of launching into gunfights, players can now also hop on horses that boast a detailed set of balls. The horse testicles were spotted by the r/gaming subreddit, who handily took a couple of screenshots of the horse balls in action: The inclusion of horse … [Read more...] about Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Animated Horse Testicles
Fortnite streaming celebrity Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins recently announced a new partnership with Red Bull on stream, playing a short clip of himself donning a Red Bull branded headband to lights and sound and music. Blevins detailed the partnership and followed up by announcing the Red Bull Rise Till Dawn Fortnite duos tournament, scheduled for July 21 on the 99th floor of the Willis Tower in Chicago. Rise Till Dawn is a strange one, too. While the competition has yet to be fully detailed, it doesn't start until sunset and doesn't stop until sunrise. Currently scheduled for 8:21 pm to 5:35 am the following morning, competitors will "battle to accumulate the most points possible before the sun rises over Lake Michigan." And like Ninja Vegas, Blevins will be in the spotlight for Rise Till Dawn with bonus points awarded to those that take him out. Apparently, taking out Ninja is quite the sell. According to ESPN, the event was booked up within minutes of registration going … [Read more...] about Ninja partners with Red Bull, announces ‘Rise Till Dawn’ Fortnite duos tourney
When four creators come together with the promise of hosting the biggest YouTube event in the world, how long does it take for the company to literally buy into the hype? That’s the position YouTube has found itself in. Two of YouTube’s most notorious, cartoon villain-like creators, Jake Paul and Logan Paul, will take on brothers KSI and ComedyShortGamer (better known as Deji) in a boxing match later this year. While YouTube currently isn’t involved in the fight, the amount of money each YouTuber makes off their call-out videos and likely the fight itself may encourage them to reconsider staying on the sidelines. The fight was teased after KSI’s first boxing match with British YouTuber Joe Weller earlier this month. KSI called out the Paul brothers at the end of his fight, threatening to take them on next after his victory. Jake, Logan, KSI and Deji released numerous response vlogs for the next few weeks, taunting each other and keeping their combined 56 … [Read more...] about YouTube boxing just went international, so when does YouTube get involved?
A key tone-setting moment in the stag & hen weekend experience of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is, when you’re flagging, slamming an energy drink so you can get back amongst it. It’s important the drink is a Red Bull knock-off, ‘Hot Bull‘, because it makes clear we’ve spent the weekend eating and drinking whatever looks familiar in kebab and corner shops. Sadly, Hot Bull’s days are numbered, as the next patch will replace the can with some ghastly weird ‘PUBG’ brand drink. What does ‘PUBG’ even mean? Oh, and new cosmetic loot crates which cost real money to open are coming but their clothes are mostly ugly. Let’s smash through some ‘important’ bits before we get down to what really matters. The upcoming patch is now live on the test servers, so install the test client if you want to play. Some would say these are the two most notable parts of the patch notes: Added more objects around La Bendita … [Read more...] about Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds chugging its last Hot Bull
