Lost Ark's next major update is on the horizon, but when it does arrive on June 30, it won't include a previously promised feature--Yoz's Jar. In a new blog post outlining features coming to the free-to-play MMO in the Wrath of the Covetous Legion update, Lost Ark's Western publisher Amazon states the Yoz's Jar cosmetics system described in the game's recent roadmap won't be featured in the upcoming update as originally planned. The jar would have introduced a new cosmetic system into Lost Ark, and while it was primarily just for fashion purposes, epic and legendary skins obtained through Yoz's Jar would have granted 1% or 2% attack power increases, depending on rarity. Yoz's Jar cosmetics would have been obtainable from the in-game store via Royal Crystals. The skins could then be sold on the player-to-player market. Under The Shadow director Babak Anvari talks his new “Hitchcockian neo-noir crime thriller”
With Under the Shadow and Wounds , British-Iranian filmmaker Babak Anvari announced himself as a bracingly fresh voice in the supernatural horror genre. But there’s more than one string to Anvari’s fearsome bow, as evidenced by I Came By, a "Hitchcockian neo-noir crime thriller" that also proves the British film industry doesn’t make them like it used to. Haunted mobiles are nothing new for the horror genre. But in the hands of Babak Anvari, the Iranian-British director behind 2016 gem Under The Shadow, you might think twice about sleeping next to your omnipresent black slab every night. A Lovecraftian body horror inspired by the likes of David Cronenberg (opens in new tab) , David Lynch (opens in new tab) and Hideo Nakata’s Ringu, Wounds is an effective scalp-prickler, albeit a step down from Anvari’s superb Iranian debut.
