Taylor Kurosaki, Infinity Ward’s narrative director, announced today on Twitter that Modern Warfare crossplay is up and working for all of the game’s platforms. This includes the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Kurosaki’s announcement came as a response to a tweet from a Call of Duty fan who asked him about it. Crossplay has always bee a sticky situation for many developers and their publishers, with a great deal of debate between the three gaming giants of Microsoft, SOny, and Nintendo over the abillity to play games across platforms. Crazy Justice is the latest addition to the world of Battle Royale genre after the hits like Fortnite and PUBG, but what makes this game different from others is the ability to cross-play between Nintendo Switch And Xbox One. Developers recently revealed a video showing the cross-platform play in effect. Crazy Justice will be the first game to bring the cross play to Switch and also will be the first battle royale game on the Nintendo Switch. Black Riddle Studios released the above video showing the progress they have made on bringing cross-platform between Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC, Except PS4 which will not get this feature on release. Crossplay between PS4 and Xbox One players on Fortnite could happen – but only if Sony gives the thumbs up. Recently it was revealed that Fortnite crossplay would be happening with Xbox One and PC as well as, surprisingly enough, people who use mobile to play Fortnite. Epic Games has announced Fortnite Xbox One crossplay support, allowing Xbox players to play with and against gamers on other platforms. What's more, a player moving between platforms will enjoy cross-progression and cross-purchases, meaning content won't have to be bought twice, and rank and Battle Pass tiers will be synced across devices. Those who don't want to go up against PC and/or mobile players can "opt out" of crossplay. Players who opt out of crossplaying with others will only face opponents on the same platform. As explained by Epic Games, the feature is totally optional, but is intended to "make it easier to play together with friends": "With each new platform we support and every update we ship, we strive to bring Fortnite to more people, and make it easier to play together with friends. Bandai Namco announced Dark Souls Remastered in conjunction with today's Nintendo Direct Mini, and this will mark the first time the series has made an appearance on a Nintendo console. The new Dark Souls remaster will include dynamic 4K resolution support on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, and will presumably feature upgraded textures and lighting. Dark Souls Remastered Multiplayer Mentioned in Bandai Namco's press release, Dark Souls Remastered will include nine new online covenants to find that will motivate online interaction between players. Up to six players can join each other online to either play cooperatively or competitively throughout the quest.
