Xbox's FPS Boost feature, which was unveiled back in February 2021 and only available for a handful of backward compatible Xbox One titles, has expanded to series like Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront, and Titanfall. In a post by Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, FPS Boost can now be toggled in games such as Battlefield V, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Titanfall 2. These are just the highlights from the growing list of Xbox One games that can take advantage of the feature, which uses the Xbox Series X|S's more advanced hardware to nearly doubles a game's frame rate to smoothen the experience. Verdansk 84 is the new Warzone map . The redesigned map includes 7 new locations, along with 5 locations that have been given a new layout. Included in these new locations are Gora Summit, which has replaced Dam in the north of the map and is based on the Black Ops multiplayer, the Krast Salt Mines which takes the place of Quarry, and the monolithic Grid Array, which you’ll be able to spot as you drop in. Raven Software has confirmed that the original Call of Duty Warzone Verdansk map is gone for good. Yesterday saw the long-awaited nuke event finally come to fruition, and today a new Warzone map was birthed from the ruins: Verdansk '84 . And according to Raven associate creative director Amos Hodge (via PC Gamer ), the new version of Verdansk is here to stay. DayZ 's 1.12 update is live, and it's a big one. The new update introduces sweeping changes to both PVP and Player Vs Infected combat, making new playstyles and strategies more viable. The update includes changes to firearms, ammo, and protective gear, and even adds new weapons and items into the game. Changes have been made to the way infected act, making them both deadlier and harder to damage in close melee combat. To balance that out, they are now a little slower to react to sounds, meaning it will be easier to avoid a combat situation if you're stealthy. Infected will also lose interest if they lose a target, and will no longer attack unconscious players. Other changes will affect the way PVP combat feels, thanks to changes to weaponry and armor.
