To complicate matters, Atheon summons an irritating Harpy variant known as Supplicants, who assault you in squads of three that alternate attacking left and right sync plates. They are not that tough, as it goes, but they do explode on death and will self-detonate if they get too close to you. The trick to avoiding this effect is to make sure you all stand on top of the pillar in the centre of the Vex sync plate. This significantly reduces the explosive impact. … [Read more...] about Destiny – Vault of Glass: Atheon boss, Time’s Conflux, Time’s Vengeance, Supplicants

Destiny 2’s next-gen update puts a brilliant new expansion in the best possible light
Combined with another new feature which debuted across all platforms, allowing you to grab Bounties from the game's phone app, sidestepping the need to visit certain vendors and their loading screens altogether, is a revelation; for me, Destiny is a game of joyful busywork, where overlapping as many objectives and rewards into a single session as possible becomes a game in itself. The best thing to do, then, is not allow the Fanatics to get anywhere near the areas where you do most of your moving around. … [Read more...] about Destiny – Vault of Glass: Templar boss, how to solve the Confluxes, Fanatics, Oracles
Destiny – Templar Challenge, Atheon Challenge and what is new in Vault of Glass 390 Raid, including new chest location
So start the battle, kill the Oracles and have someone grab the Relic to bring the shield down (and be the person who blocks the teleport points) while everyone else concentrates on damage and enemies. The shield shouldn't rise again if it doesn't teleport, making this an quick challenge if you bring your highest damage dealing equipment. … [Read more...] about Destiny – Templar Challenge, Atheon Challenge and what is new in Vault of Glass 390 Raid, including new chest location
