Yesterday on Twitter, Call Of Duty shared a promoted Tweet for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 showing the community reveal event date with a Black Ops 4 logo and a PlayStation 4 Pro with a logo at the end in a 6 seconds short video. Earlier reports suggested that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be the first in the series to launch with no campaign mode, and is going to have a battle royale mode. Now, more details about the game’s multiplayer mode are coming to light. As part of batch of lengthy, mostly unconfirmed leaks, Twitter user Matt Harris, posted a series of tweets about the scrapped campaign, Zombies mode, and multiplayer. Charlie Intel was only able to confirm some of the details about multiplayer. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has had a number of unconfirmed leaks surface in the past weeks; just recently, it was revealed that the game would not have a single-player campaign mode. We have yet to know if any of the leaks are true, and will be learning more at the official Black Ops 4 community reveal event on May 17. However, today a Twitter user revealed that the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be similar to Blizzard’s Overwatch, which is an online-only FPS and strategy game that has gained over 35 million players worldwide. This year it is Treyarch’s turn to bring on the next Call of Duty game and it seems instead of going for a new kind of COD game, devs are bringing Call of Duty Black Ops 4. According to a leak from GameStop, Black Ops 4 is happening in 2018. The retailer listed Black Ops 4 merchandise in its system.
