Comic-Con International: San Diego 2021 has been canceled as an in-person event and will instead be held as a three-day online only event, according to a statement from Comic-Con International . The statement cites health concerns surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as well as financial strain as the primary factors in the decision to take its 2021 San Diego convention online. CCI's decision comes hot on the heels of a similar decision by the organization to move its planned WonderCon 2021 event from an in-person convention to an online only event . Rockstar co-owner Take-Take has discussed their strategy regarding potential GTA remasters. Speaking during a conference earlier this week (and transcribed by VideoGamesChronicle ), Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick commented on the impact that potential remasters could have on Rockstar's strategy going forward. "I’m not sure there’ll be a bigger part of the strategy," said the CEO. "We’ve done differently than the competition – we don’t just port titles over, we actually take the time to do the very best job we can making the title different for the new release, for the new technology that we’re launching it on." Speaking of GTA 5 's imminent next-gen port, Zelnick went on to add "obviously, I’m confident that Rockstar is going to deliver just a great experience, but you can’t do that if you’re just doing a simple port." If you're starved for content starring anime's loudest brawlers, this Saturday's Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour will likely be something worth watching. While it uses Dragon Ball Z's definition of an hour and is actually a 12-hour long event, there'll be plenty of competitive content between top players across games such as Dragon Ball FighterZ , Dragon Ball Legends , and Dragon Ball Super Card Game on March 6. An online arena lobby will allow fans and participants to interact with each other in an attempt to create an in-person environment during the event. Fans can create a unique avatar and use the lobby emote functions to cheer the competitors on during their respective games.
