Treyarch has responded to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 "PC meta" with a significant nerf to its most powerful and popular weapon.Ever since Black Ops 4 was released in October, it's become clear the console version and the PC version have separate metas - that is to say, some weapons and tactics that have emerged as powerful and thus popular on PC aren't necessarily powerful and thus popular on console, and vice versa.A case in point is the Saug 9mm Operator Mod, which sacrifices aim down sights (ADS) for dual wielding. Here's a clip showing how powerful the Saug 9mm Operator Mod can be on PC: Earlier this week, Treyarch released Black Ops 4's first major weapon balance update (the one that nerfed armour), but it didn't include any PC-specific changes. Which is surprising since Xbox One X has the more powerful … [Read more...] about Black Ops 4 Blackout Frame Rate Comparison PS4 Pro vs Xbox One X, Which One Is Better?
Ever since Uncharted came to be it has been compared and often accused of copying Tomb Raider. Fans on each end bicker over Lara Croft vs Nathan Drake. It is rare to see a developer make comments over the matter as they see things differently, however, Crystal Dynamics did mention recently mention how Lara separates herself from Uncharted series. In a recent interview, Rich Briggs, Senior Brand Director at Crystal Dynamics explained how he feels about Lara Croft, and what separates her from Naughty Dog’s iconic franchise. He stated that the studio has plenty of respect for what Naughty Dog has achieved with Uncharted. But Lara is the one who defined this genre. One of the things that separates Lara is — partly her drive, partly that unique combination of skills I was talking about, the survival action lens we try to view everything through. We look at it as cinematic survival action. The tombs are also a big differentiation. We obviously draw inspiration from movies … [Read more...] about Tomb Raider Vs Uncharted: Shadow of the Tomb Raider Dev Compares the Two

But while this is the Fortnite you know fundamentally — same map, same circle, same pining for chug jugs, and same dreams of cross-play with your PC and console friends — by bringing Battle Royale to the iPhone, Epic Games did need to make some changes to accommodate for (among other things) the smaller screen and touch controls. The biggest quality of life change is a concession to those who play phone games without headphones: footsteps, gunfire, and chests are visible on the screen.
