You Can Now Try GOG Galaxy 2.0, Which Solves One Of PC Gaming’s Big Problems
After a few months of invitation-only testing, digital store GOG has now launched an open beta for GOG Galaxy 2.0, which aims to solve one of PC gaming's biggest problems. The brand-new game client is more than just a way to download and launch games purchased on GOG.com, as it also introduces a way to import all of your game libraries, friends lists, and achievements from loads of different store clients so you can access it all in one place.GOG Galaxy 2.0 lets you link accounts from GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, Uplay, and even Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, with the latter two serving as ways to organise your console libraries and view your friends lists. You can manually add games from outside of these stores, too, and there are also user-made plugins supporting more stores and emulated console games. Square Enix Reveals New PS4/PC Game “The Quiet Man” At E3 2018, Can Be Completed In One Sitting
Square Enix has announced a brand-new game. Today during the company's E3 2018 briefing, a game called The Quiet Man. As the title implies, it will involve silence in some manner. The tagline for The Quiet Man is "silence rings loudest." A trailer for the game was shown, focusing on a character beating up two other dudes in the street. You can watch it above.A full announcement for The Quiet Man has now come online, and Square Enix refers to the game as an "immersive story-driven cinematic action experience." According to Square Enix, it's expected that you can complete the game in one sitting. Intriguingly, and as the announcement trailer suggested, the games blends "live-action, realistic CG" with what the publisher calls "pulse-pounding action gameplay." That majority of numbered Final Fantasy games, however, have stuck to the realm of buttons, thumbsticks, and cameras that have yet to change gaming in any meaningful way. But that might be changing sooner rather than later. Amazon Prime’s Free PC Games For Members In December 2019
If you have Amazon Prime, it turns out you also have a Twitch Prime subscription, which means you have another bath of free games and in-game loot to claim this month. Twitch Prime offers access to free games every month (similar to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold). This month's games are pretty decent, and the amount of free in-game loot you get is also pretty surprising.The five free games became available on December 2. The headliner for the month is ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove. The retro throwback was just released earlier this year. The others for the month include Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, Hover, When Ski Lifts Go Wrong, and Hue.In addition, Prime members will be entitled to some free loot throughout the month as well.
