Mayans MC: CM Punk On The Importance Of Telling His Character’s Story
When AEW's CM Punk made his first appearance as Paul, Gilly's (Vincent "Rocco" Vargas) military veteran friend in Season 2 of FX's Mayans MC , it was a shock. Practically unannounced before airing, Punk's appearance on such a high-profile show was a delight for wrestling fans. Once the character's story started to unfold over the fourth and fifth episode of the season, though, it quickly became clear how important a story it was. Paul, like many who have served in the military, is dealing with a pretty severe case of post-traumatic stress disorder. We see this first at a birthday party in Episode 4, "A Crow Flew By," when he loses his temper at another party guest. Of course, things took a much darker turn in Episode 5, "Death of the Virgin." The following contains spoilers for the fifth episode of Mayans MC Season 4, "Death of the Virgin." If you've yet to watch the latest installment, you should stop reading now. Early in the episode, Gilly is called to Paul's home, and it's … [Read more...] about Mayans MC: CM Punk On The Importance Of Telling His Character’s Story

Lost Ark's Destined for Destruction update will be live later today, and it's a doozy, with the patch notes detailing plenty of new content alongside numerous quality-of-life improvements and balance changes to Amazon and Smilegate RPG's free-to-play MMORPG that fans should appreciate. At the forefront of the update is the new Destroyer class, a melee DPS that wields a giant two-handed hammer that can manipulate gravity to displace and decimate foes. The Destroyer is the second new class to come to Lost Ark since launch, with the first being the introduction of the Glaivier last month. In terms of endgame content, there are two new challenges for high item level players to overcome. A new Guardian Raid, Deskaluda, will require players to have an item level of 1415 to attempt. Xbox Outsells PlayStation In Japan For First Time Since 2014
The sales in Japan for Xbox Series S last week surpassed those of PlayStation 5, making this the first time an Xbox console has outsold a PlayStation in any given week since 2014. According to Famitsu , during the week of May 9 through May 15, the Xbox Series S console sold 6,120 units. Sales of the PlayStation 5 disc version and digital edition consoles were at 2,240 and 493 units, respectively, for a combined total of 2,693 units. This specific incident is most likely due to the low supply of PlayStation 5 consoles whereas Xbox Series S supply is more plentiful. Last year, Sony reportedly told analysts that shortages for its latest console will continue through 2022 . The last time a similar situation happened was when the Xbox One was first released in Japan back in 2014, clocking in 23,562 units sold during its launch week compared to the 6,373 units of PlayStation 4 consoles sold during that same time period. Not since the launch of the Xbox One has Xbox outsold … [Read more...] about Xbox Outsells PlayStation In Japan For First Time Since 2014

Developer Mediatonic announced the game's big summer update during a reveal stream earlier today. From June 21, Fall Guys will be available to play for free on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Cross-play, cross-platform parties, and cross-progression will be available across all versions through Epic Online Services, which will require an Epic Games account. There's some important fine print for those platforms. For starters, while existing Steam players will continue to get all updates going forward, Fall Guys won't be available to download on Steam for new players after June 20. It's moving exclusively to the Epic Games Store. PS5 users, meanwhile, are also getting a free new-gen upgrade "bringing faster load times and other performance upgrades to your fabulous next-gen box of tricks." As you'd expect, … [Read more...] about Fall Guys Switch and Xbox versions coming in June with the whole game going free-to-play
