Resident Evil Village has been spotted in the wild in Australia following an apparent street date break. Twitter user Kaiser499 shared images of a physical copy of the game on Twitter, and we know it's from an Australian store given its R18+ rating. This isn't the first time that the street date for a major game has been broken – Cyberpunk 2077 , for instance, was purchasable ahead of schedule – but it is one of the earliest leaks in recent memory. It seems Kaiser499 obtained their PS5 copy of Resident Evil Village today, April 22, just over two weeks ahead of the game's official release date of May 7. On the heels of a steady and slow-burning recent online petition to have LeVar Burton host Jeopardy , the world has listened, and it is now officially making it happen. Although the actor hasn't yet been named an official successor to former host Alex Trebek after his death, Variety is reporting that Burton will be one of the final guest hosts who will finish out the show's current season. The dates Burton will rotate in have not yet been announced. "Our goal has been to present a wide variety of guest hosts with different skill sets and backgrounds on our path to finding a permanent host," Jeopardy executive producer Mike Richards said in a statement (via Variety). LeVar Burton has taken to Twitter to let it be known that he would like to be the next host of Jeopardy, tersely signal-boosting a Change.org petition to that effect started by fans . The petition, which was started back in November, is as of this writing now experiencing a resurgence likely due to Burton's bump, and also climbing steadily towards its goal of 200,000 so far digital signatures as of this writing.
