Following the original two installments, the Ghost Rider has more or less fallen back into the shadowy underworld. However, Nicolas Cage (Johnny Blaze) believes that there is untapped potential in the flaming anti-hero. The actor wants someone to reboot the franchise in the coming years but there are a few conditions involved. While speaking with JoBlo in a recent interview, Cage stated that the Ghost Rider adaptations for the silver screen should have been R-rated from the beginning. In fact, Ghost Rider (2007) began with a script that went along with the same thematic needs. However, “they” decided to water down everything and the original creative foresight was lost. Nicolas Cage was set to star in Tim Burton's Superman Lives in the '90s, but the film famously fell apart. We never got to see everything that Cage could bring to the table. And maybe we never will. However, it's now confirmed that Cage will finally get to play Superman in a movie, but only in a voice role.Warner Bros. Animation announced this week that Cage will voice Superman in a cameo role for the upcoming Teen Titans Go! movie. Other cameo cast members include singer Halsey (Wonder Woman) and rapper Lil Yachty (Green Lantern).Cage is a big-time Superman fan. The cast of Teen Titans Go! To the Movies is making dreams come true; or if not dreams, at least the potential of that long-ago failed Superman movie, Superman Lives! Nicolas Cage will voice the role of Superman in the animated film, based on Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go!, reports USA Today. He joins a cast that includes rapper Lil Yachty as Green Lantern John Stewart, singer/songwriter Halsey as Wonder Woman and Kristen Bell as a famous director the Titans are trying to get to make their theatrical movie. The actor, once famously set to play Superman in a cancelled project more than two decades back, will now be given the same opportunity again, albeit as an animated character in the upcoming Teen Titans Go! movie. The Oculus Rift allows gamers to experience a myriad of virtual reality worlds, and now one Canadian film company is bringing a unique movie experience to the device. Nicolas Cage fans will be able to download the Humanity Bureau VR app to view episodic releases of his latest movie. The Humanity Bureau film, starring Nicolas Cage, is an action thriller set in 2030, focusing on the condition of the world following the effects of global warming and economic recession. The film is unique in that it was filmed in multiple ways, allowing viewers to watch the movie in a standard 2D theater, in a three-screen Barco Escape theater, in addition to a series of side stories filmed in an episodic format viewable via the Oculus Rift headset.
