New Nintendo Switch Left Joy-Con Is In Works, Still No D-Pad
Only a few days after Nintendo’s financial report for the first fiscal year of Nintendo Switch, the company is already working on making the console more stable. According to latest reports, a new Nintendo Switch Left Joy-Con is in the works, fixing the issues players have been noticing over the console’s first year. The old Nintendo Switch Left Joy-Con has been giving users a hard time, since complaints about it either not being recognizable by the console or being when it shouldn’t have been made. Nintendo is addressing those issues, creating a new Joy-Con, eliminating those issues. The news comes from the Federal Communications Commission and has been reported by Gamnesia, suggesting that Nintendo is bringing an improved version of the Nintendo Switch Left Joy-Con. New Nintendo Switch Firmware Update Is Available, Brings The System To Version 5.0.1.
Nintendo has rolled out a Firmware Update for the Switch console recently. So for those who have been expecting an update this here is a confirmation that it’s available. The new Nintendo Switch Firmware Update is apparently a minor update that brings the console’s system to its version 5.0.1. According to Nintendo, this Nintendo Switch Firmware Update, although is a minor update, it will still improve a lot of stuff in the console. The overall stability of the system will improve significantly but other than that not much has been detailed. We will hopefully know more, once we have the feedback from the users about this new update. New Nintendo Switch UI Update Found in Weird Bug
A new Nintendo Switch UI update has seemingly been discovered in a weird bug, with some users able to access an overhauled user select screen that points towards a larger update for the console. However, this hidden update is only accessible when playing Scribblenauts Showdown, with the discovery suggesting that Nintendo may announce a new Switch system update in tomorrow's Nintendo Direct. The hidden update was found by the YouTube channel SwitchForce, who posted a video highlighting a brand new "select a user" screen in which players are able to select an account before they start up a game. Though this is available on the Switch's current UI, the updated version of this screen also allows the user to quickly see the amount of saved data each account has for the selected game.
