Mayans MC: CM Punk On The Importance Of Telling His Character’s Story
When AEW's CM Punk made his first appearance as Paul, Gilly's (Vincent "Rocco" Vargas) military veteran friend in Season 2 of FX's Mayans MC , it was a shock. Practically unannounced before airing, Punk's appearance on such a high-profile show was a delight for wrestling fans. Once the character's story started to unfold over the fourth and fifth episode of the season, though, it quickly became clear how important a story it was. Paul, like many who have served in the military, is dealing with a pretty severe case of post-traumatic stress disorder. We see this first at a birthday party in Episode 4, "A Crow Flew By," when he loses his temper at another party guest. Of course, things took a much darker turn in Episode 5, "Death of the Virgin." The following contains spoilers for the fifth episode of Mayans MC Season 4, "Death of the Virgin." If you've yet to watch the latest installment, you should stop reading now. Early in the episode, Gilly is called to Paul's home, and it's … [Read more...] about Mayans MC: CM Punk On The Importance Of Telling His Character’s Story

Mayans MC Creator Reveals How CM Punk Wound Up In Season 4
If you're not watching the new season of Mayans MC on FX, it's time to catch up. Not only is the Sons of Anarchy club rearing its ugly head once again, but there was a very surprising face that popped up in the latest episode. The new season of Mayans is one of the most turbulent yet, with an internal grudge ripping the titular club apart at the seams and seemingly no hope on the horizon. Pokemon Go To Receive New Social Features Niantic Has Been Testing In Ingress
Pokemon Go is, without a doubt, Niantic's most successful and popular game, but many of its ideas and technology were created for Ingress, its other augmented reality, GPS-powered game. In recent weeks, Niantic has been experimenting with social features in Ingress that allow players to connect directly inside of the app, as opposed to coordinating outside of it, and it is ready to bring those features to Pokemon Go. Exactly what the features borrowed from Ingress will be and how they will be adapted to Pokemon Go is not yet entirely clear, but Niantic says the features will be coming to Pokemon Go sometime in the next few months. We reached out to Niantic for more clarity and it said that Pokemon Go's features will be different from Ingress's, but it is working on features that will give trainers tools to connect with their friends in game as well as other Trainers out in the real world, like real-time geo-coordination, as one example. Niantic outlined the new social features for … [Read more...] about Pokemon Go To Receive New Social Features Niantic Has Been Testing In Ingress
Lost Ark Destined For Destruction Update Goes Live Today: Full Patch Notes
Lost Ark's Destined for Destruction update will be live later today, and it's a doozy, with the patch notes detailing plenty of new content alongside numerous quality-of-life improvements and balance changes to Amazon and Smilegate RPG's free-to-play MMORPG that fans should appreciate. At the forefront of the update is the new Destroyer class, a melee DPS that wields a giant two-handed hammer that can manipulate gravity to displace and decimate foes. The Destroyer is the second new class to come to Lost Ark since launch, with the first being the introduction of the Glaivier last month. In terms of endgame content, there are two new challenges for high item level players to overcome. A new Guardian Raid, Deskaluda, will require players to have an item level of 1415 to attempt. Even more challenging is the introduction of the game's first Legion raid, Valtan. This eight-player encounter will also require an item level of 1415 for normal difficulty and an item level of 1445 for … [Read more...] about Lost Ark Destined For Destruction Update Goes Live Today: Full Patch Notes

Ewan McGregor Credits Star Wars Prequel Fans For His Obi-Wan Return
Disney+'s upcoming limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi will fill a hole in the Skywalker Saga between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, while expanding on ideas birthed out of Star Wars: Rebels. However, this show may not have happened if it weren't for prequel fans explaining their love of those movies to series star Ewan McGregor. Arriving on the streaming service on May 27, McGregor reprises his role as the Jedi Knight, but years before this show came to fruition, McGregor didn't see his work on the prequels as positively affecting anyone. "One of the difficult things about being in the prequels was that, when they came out, it didn't seem well received because there was no social media," McGregor said during an Obi-Wan press conference. "There was no direct avenue to the fans at the time and also the fans were kids." McGregor explained the prequel films were made for a younger generation, much like how the original trilogy was also aimed at younger kids. "When the first film … [Read more...] about Ewan McGregor Credits Star Wars Prequel Fans For His Obi-Wan Return
