In yesterday’s Tell GR we covered the most underrated games of 2018, and now we’re catching the flip side. We asked the team to tell us their opinion on the most overrated games of 2018. Each of these games rated pretty highly at GR, but for one reason or another, the hype train derailed when it reached our editors. We’ve started up our end-of-year coverage on GameRevolution, breaking down the most disappointing games of 2018 today in the run-up to our eventual, extra special top 50 best games list. 2018 arguably wasn’t the best year for video games. While there were a good bunch of great games released this past year, there were far more disappointments than classics, so much so that narrowing down a top 10 most disappointing games of 2018 list was pretty difficult.
