By Nick Valdez - August 2, 2019 08:36 pm EDT Share 1 Comments 1 One-Punch Man is full of tons of great characters, and even greater character designs that run the gamut between fierce and full on fan-service. When the Monster Association arc finally began in the anime's second season, fans were anxiously waiting to see how one of the most fierce, full of fan service designs would make the jump. Thankfully, fans weren't disappointed with Monster Princess Do-S made her monstrous debut, but now the monster sadist has come to life. Cosplay Artist @khainsaw (who you can find on Instagram here) has brought Monster Princess Do-S to the real world, and it's a particularly brave, eye-popping, and potentially not safe for work take on the monster's bold, leather bound bikini look. Check it out below! One-Punch Man Season 2 Reveals Major Monster Invasion
By Nick Valdez - May 10, 2019 07:03 pm EDT Share 0 Comments 0 One-Punch Man's second season has introduced a new villain to the series in the human monster Garou, but he isn't the only one fans should be keeping an eye on as the season continues. With Episode 5 of the season, One-Punch Man's world is now littered with tons of monsters as they have launched an unanticipated coordinated attack on the Hero Association. Ever since the second season began, there has been something building up under the surface and it seems that the monster attacks in the first season have eventually inspired the other monsters to band together in order to present a bigger threat. In the previous episode, the massive centipede Centichoro arrived and seemed to present the biggest threat to heroes. But it's clear that it's not acting alone, as the beginning of Episode 17 of the series sees multiple emergency calls coming in from all over as monsters have popped up and attacked … [Read more...] about One-Punch Man Season 2 Reveals Major Monster Invasion
The Witcher Team Addresses Geralt’s Two Swords
By Matthew Aguilar - December 6, 2019 10:04 pm EST Share 0 Comments 0 Netflix will soon unleash its newest series The Witcher, and it's a show that both fans of the books and fans of the video games are looking forward to quite a bit. One of the biggest hallmarks from the games is Geralt's two swords, which he wears on his back and swaps between depending on who he is facing at the time. His steel sword is used against humans, while his silver sword is used against monsters, though in the footage from the show we haven't seen him wearing them on his back like in the games. In a new breakdown of the trailer, showrunner Lauren Hissrich and executive producer Tomek Baginski addressed his two swords and did confirm he has both, but they went with the method he uses in the books over the games. "Geralt obviously has two swords in the show, and we see him mostly with his steel sword on his back," Hissrich said. "Coming into the series I always assumed that he would … [Read more...] about The Witcher Team Addresses Geralt’s Two Swords
One-Punch Man and the Myth of Meritocracy
By Chase Magnett - July 4, 2019 12:30 pm EDT Share 0 Comments 0 What do you think of first when someone mentions One-Punch Man? A deadpan sense of humor that transforms even the most horrific displays of violence into laugh riots? Character designs that have fleshed out a world filled with superheroes every bit as fascinating as those from Marvel and DC? Action and spreads packed with so much detail and energy that most manga readers are left drooling? All of these factors have made the current series from writer ONE and artist Yusuke Murata an international hit. However, there’s one element that's more and more prominent within the series and deserves additional attention as it develops: social satire. While One-Punch Man (in all its forms) has presented satirical elements from its start, many geared to the tropes of shonen and superhero comics, these have become more critical of social structures as the series continued. The organization of superheroes, … [Read more...] about One-Punch Man and the Myth of Meritocracy
One-Punch Man Reveals Garou’s Epic and Hilariously Awkward Fight with Metal Bat
By Kofi Outlaw - May 8, 2019 12:26 pm EDT Share 0 Comments 0 One-Punch Man's latest episode "The Martial Arts Tournament" takes our hero Saitama into the world of martial arts fighters, all while the actual world around him is under attack! The Monster Association is launching coordinated attacks around S-City, stretching the Hero Association's resources dangerously thin. It's the perfect opportunity for hero-hunter villain Garou to strike at Metal Bat, the S-Class No. 15 hero who has been taking out the monsters left and right. In One-Punch Man's latest big fight sequence, Garou's fearsome human-killing martial arts abilities prove equal to Metal Bat's insane masochistic fight style. Thier battle approaches Dragon Ball level intensity, with each fighter forcing the other to move at ridiculous speeds in order to dodge barrages of damaging blows from the other. Eventually, Garou's keen observational skill allows him to gain advantage over Metal Bat's fight … [Read more...] about One-Punch Man Reveals Garou’s Epic and Hilariously Awkward Fight with Metal Bat
