You may already be composing a comment declaring that this makes it a very thin comparison point for the Hitman series, but it's important that you understand that I am a very bad Hitman player. Not for me the painstaking observation and elaborate assassination scenarios. No, my default way of playing Hitman is to swipe a costume and then embark on a clumsy and steadily escalating spree as I create as much mayhem and confusion as possible. And in that sense, the way I play Hitman is exactly identical to the gameplay of Under the Skin, just without the generous sprinkles of golden coins. … [Read more...] about Revisiting Under the Skin, Capcom’s forgotten arcade stealth game

The K.O. Edition includes everything listed above, plus a "premium hard-shell roadie collector's case box featuring working lights and sound. It's a little premature to guess that another golden age is on the way now that Lucasfilm is bringing in more developers, but for now, PC Gamer's Star Wars fans are excited to have something more concrete to look forward to than 'whatever EA is doing next.' And the detail that Massive and Division 2 director Julian Gerighty are behind an upcoming Star Wars game has us imagining some interesting possibilities. Here's what we're expecting and hoping for. … [Read more...] about What do we want from Ubisoft’s open world Star Wars game?

These frenzied 6v6 matches challenge teams to fight over a tiny briefcase in an attempt to hold onto it long enough to unlock some launch codes for a nuke. … [Read more...] about Smaller teams make for better matches in Cold War’s new Dropkick mode
Cold War Zombies: Best loadout, weapons and field upgrades
Ring of Fire is the other field upgrade I’ve been really enjoying. When you start camping in corners to take out loads of zombies in later rounds, this bad boy will be an absolute godsend. Using it creates a ring of fire around you which boosts your damage and deals fire damage to enemies. Make sure you upgrade it too, as it blocks enemy projectiles which is massively powerful when fighting Megatons, as well as taking ammo from your stock rather than your magazine, meaning for the 15 seconds the Ring of Fire is active you basically have no need to stop firing your shotgun. … [Read more...] about Cold War Zombies: Best loadout, weapons and field upgrades
