The question of who will become the next Marvel Cinematic Universe Captain America following Steve Rogers' retirement in Avengers: Endgame seems to be at the heart of the upcoming Disney Plus MCU streaming series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which premieres this week - and that means answering the question of who gets to wield his shield. 2021 also marks the 80th anniversary since Captain America's debut in 1941's Captain America #1 , and to celebrate Marvel is reuniting Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, and John Walker for a road trip adventure titled The United States of Captain America , in search of the vaunted shield, which has been stolen. Along the way, they'll meet new, local heroes who have taken up the legacy of Captain America to protect their own communities, starting with the just-introduced Aaron Fischer , an openly gay defender of people experiencing homelessness and LGBTQ+ youth. Great moments in PC gaming: Becoming cabaret club czar in Yakuza 0
Great moments in PC gaming are bite-sized celebrations of some of our favorite gaming memories. Yakuza 0 Year: Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio In Yakuza 0's cabaret clubs the salarymen of its booming 1980s Japan pay to drink with glamorous, flirtatious women. These businesses are hostess clubs, with strict policies against anything sexual—the staff are just there to pour drinks, light cigarettes, and turn on the charm. How many of those people have enjoyed watching a horror movie or psychological thriller?’ We thought there were quite a lot of people we could sell this game to.” To understand the origin of Shattered Memories, you have to go right back to Silent Hill: Origins on PSP in 2007. It was the game that convinced Konami that the Portsmouth-based studio represented a safe … [Read more...] about The making of… Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
