Microsoft has announced that four more games are leaving the Xbox Game Pass library at the end of the month. None of this is out of the ordinary, as Microsoft removes titles from Game Pass each month in two waves, the first of which removed Limbo, Darkest Dungeon, and Greedfall on June 15. Titles leaving Game Pass on June 30, meanwhile, include FIFA 20, Jurassic World Evolution, Last Stop, and MotoGP 20. In the case of FIFA 20, it's leaving, but FIFA 22--the newest entry in the series--arrives June 23 for Game Pass Ultimate members. And as usual, the silver lining is that members save 20% on all Game Pass titles, so they can keep playing at a discounted rate. The biggest showcases of E3 2022 have now drawn to a close. And while we've been treated to dozens of pretty cinematic trailers, promising gameplay reveals, remakes and reworkings over the last several days – not least during the Xbox and Bethesda Games event, and Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest – there are plenty of games that, for one reason or another, failed to peak their heads above the development trenches. The Games Industry’s Response To Roe V Wade Being Overturned, So Far
The United States Supreme Court has overruled Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision guaranteeing a constitutional right to abortion. The controversial decision has already driven a response from high-profile developers and indies alike, including Bungie and several Sony studios, as well as an industry group. Bungie and Sony studios issue statements Bungie first signaled its support of Roe v. Wade in May, when news reports circulated of an anonymous leak of a draft opinion. The studio has now reconfirmed that commitment with a travel reimbursement plan for employees who have to travel for reproductive health care. It also provided links to resources for supporting reproductive rights. Several Hollywood studios have announced similar plans . Final Fantasy Record Keeper is closing down after seven years
Seven years after its release, fans are bidding farewell to Final Fantasy Record Keeper. Despite having the word final in its title, Square Enix's long-running RPG series shows no signs of stopping. With Final Fantasy 16 set to release next year and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth announced as the second instalment in the remake trilogy, there's certainly a lot for fans to get excited about. But one fantasy that is coming to an end is the free-to-play mobile title Final Fantasy Record Keeper . Square Enix has announced it's pulling the plug on Final Fantasy Record Keeper on September 29. With the gacha game officially shutting down, gems will no longer be available to purchase from August 30.
