Among Us gets quickchat wheel on all platforms
InnerSloth has announced the arrival of a new quickchat feature for Among Us that allows players to communicate simple messages using various prompts. The quickchat wheel should prove useful to players using text chat, particularly for those playing on Switch, as the console's tool for typing out messages is especially cumbersome to navigate. Notably, players under the age of 18 are currently restricted to only using the quickchat wheel for communicating with other players, though InnerSloth says it's actively working on lowering that age requirement to 13 . While the new feature will surely be a welcome convenience to some Among Us players using text chat, players on the younger side might feel restricted when trying to navigate complex social situations. Even so, the age restriction might be for the best, and it sounds like InnerSloth's intention is to make the game a safer space for kids. "We've just added Quickchat (v 2021.2.21) - this is an easier, faster, and safer … [Read more...] about Among Us gets quickchat wheel on all platforms

Wandavision Episode 9: 18 Easter Eggs And References In “The Series Finale”
Well, it's over. WandaVision Episode 9, "The Series Finale," is streaming now on Disney+, and no matter what else you may have thought about it, the final chapter was at least full of Easter eggs and references for us to break down. If that's what you're interested in, go ahead and keep scrolling. Of course, there's a lot to say about the episode itself, and we have no doubt that fans are going to be divided on this one. On one hand, it provided closure and emotional payoff for Wanda and Vision's story so far throughout the MCU, and it was fantastic to spend so much time with these normally secondary Avengers (compared with the likes of Iron Man and Captain America, at least). On the other hand, this episode left a lot of dangling threads that may or may not be picked up down the road in future MCU movies and shows. Plus, the Evan Peters casting turned out to be a red herring all along. Can you believe it? Let us know in the comments below, and keep reading for all the Easter eggs … [Read more...] about Wandavision Episode 9: 18 Easter Eggs And References In “The Series Finale”
UK government opens investigation into Apple’s ‘anti-competitive behaviour’
The UK government has announced that the Competition and Markets Authority will respond to complaints that the App Store (which controls what apps can be downloaded on Apple devices and takes a 30% cut of all payments) may break competition law by launching an investigation into "anti-competitive behaviour." This is perhaps most notable in the larger context of various European Commission probes into the company, and the larger campaign against the App Store by Fortnite maker Epic Games. "The CMA’s investigation will consider whether Apple has a dominant position in connection with the distribution of apps on Apple devices in the UK—and, if so, whether Apple imposes unfair or anti-competitive terms on developers using the App Store, ultimately resulting in users having less choice or paying higher prices for apps and add-ons." The investigation will look at Apple as a corporate group in its entirety as it relates to the UK: so Apple UK Limited, Apple Europe Limited, and … [Read more...] about UK government opens investigation into Apple’s ‘anti-competitive behaviour’
