If you want to earn lots of hacksilver in God of War, you’re going to need to get collecting. Collecting all of the God of War artefact sets that is. With 34 to find in Midgard, another six in Alfheim, and yet another six just for fun in Helheim, there’s over 50 of the little trinkets to find. But when you do you can sell every single one of them for a pretty penny and earn yourself the Curator trophy. Here’s how to find all the God of War artefacts:Lost and FoundLOCATION: WildwoodsAround your home in the Wildwoods are four lost toys, which make up the Lost and Found artefact set. Hope they aren’t Atreus’ old toys.1. There’s one Lost Toy lying on the floor in the same clearing as your home, but on the opposite side.2. Whether or not a copy of the original novel Annihilation sits on your bookshelf, you'll come out of the movie adaptation with questions. Questions about the strange, alien ecosystem that is Area X, about the entity that created it, and on the films ambiguous ending. Director Alex Garland knows his way around a science fiction plot, but Annihilation is his most ambitious yet precisely because of what it leaves out. The synopsis is deceptively simple at first. After a biologist's husband returns home from a secret mission, she (played by a brilliantly tough but brittle Natalie Portman) ends up volunteering to follow in his footsteps to investigate the mysterious "Area X" with a band of kickass women. Area X is affected by a strange miasma called the Shimmer, an unexplained force that affects and adapts the ecosystem within it. But what's causing it? What exactly did it do to the expeditions that had tried to explore it before? What does it want? From there the story bends and … [Read more...] about Annihilation won’t give you answers, but surrender to its beautiful fever dream and you won’t regret it
Mina is the kind of protagonist many girls will empathise with. She frequently falls into bed with all her clothes on, always seems to have messy hair, and is too shy to point out to her innkeeper that, no, actually, she isn’t a young lad. She’s also fed up with living with her parents in the middle of nowhere and dreams of making something of herself in the big city. I empathise with Mina, but most of all I empathise with her love for food. After stealing money from her parents and running away to the kingdom of Victusia, she enters a tournament to win a place among the Chef Brigade, a group of noble warriors who rid the land of monsters then turn them into dishes. To win battles, you have to wow the judges with your refined palette and masterful use of ingredients. Battle Chef Brigade is unabashedly carnivorous. A lot of the game is spent hunting a variety of beasts with knives and magic before transporting their tasty hides back to the kitchen. One of my … [Read more...] about Learning how to slice, dice and perfectly sear a bull in Battle Chef Brigade
We've been eagerly awaiting the PC version of Final Fantasy 15 for some time. It's the chance to see Square-Enix's stunning Luminous Studio engine freed from the constraints of console hardware. Enhanced versions of those visuals running at 4K resolution or a locked 60fps? The potential here is mouthwatering, but the question is just what hardware will be required to push beyond the standards set by PS4 Pro and Xbox One X - and how optimal the PC port is. A PC benchmarking tool was released at the beginning of the month, and first impressions based on mainstream hardware are sobering. We always expected the PC 'Windows Edition' to be challenging, but the benchmark is already causing controversy owing to its heavy integration of Nvidia's GameWorks libraries - bespoke 'black box' technology created by the Green Team's engineers, and integrated by Square-Enix. There's enhanced foliage via TurfWorks, beefed up fluid, fire and smoke simulation courtesy of Nvidia Flow, plus more realistic … [Read more...] about Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition looks beautiful but at what cost?
By Staff, Tuesday, 9 January 2018 05:42 GMT A walkthrough to get you on the V route in Mystic Messenger’s Another Story mode. This Mystic Messenger guide page is designed to ensure you successfully achieve V route at the end of the first four days of Another Story mode. V route is only available in Another Story; you cannot access it in Casual or Deep Story modes. You should not play Another Story until you have seen 707’s endings in Deep Story mode and unlocked all the Secret Ending story content in the gallery; although Another Story is set before the other modes in its own timeline, it spoils content from the core stories. At time of publication there is no second route to Another Story; that will be added sometime in early 2018. As such, you’ll end up on V’s route pretty much no matter what you do, as long as you don’t make so many bad choices that you end up on a Bad End. Just to take the worry out of it, though, we’ve posted a successful … [Read more...] about Mystic Messenger: how to get on V’s route walkthrough – Prologue, Day 1, 2, 3 and 4 (Another Story mode)
