Today Koei Tecmo released a brand new TV Commercial and a gameplay clip of its upcoming action game Attack on Titan 2. The commercial is the usual brief look at the game’s cutscenes, which that have been improved considerably since the first game. On the other hand, the longer gameplay video gives a look at various aspects of the title, including character creation. It’s presented by Executive Producer Hisashi Koinuma, wile voice actresses Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa) and Marina Inoue (Armin) take the controls. You can check both videos out below. Attack on Titan 2’s Trailers and Screenshots Show Character Customization, Combat, and More
Koei Tecmo released a bunch of trailers and a few screenshots of its upcoming action game Attack on Titan 2. The first two trailers come from the American arm of the publisher. The first shows the game’s combat features, including new ones that weren’t in the first titles like the scope that lets you perform surprise attacks. The second video gives us a fairly extensive look at character customization, letting us see how we can create our own hero or heroine, and have them interact with the established characters of the series. Three more videos come from Japan, showing several popular characters of the anime in their everyday clothing when they can finally relax a bit. Attack on Titan 2 Gets New Trailer Detailing Multiplayer Gameplay; New Mode Teased
Today Koei Tecmo released a new trailer for its upcoming anime-inspired action game Attack on Titan 2. The trailer features the multiplayer modes, that will be online-only on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but will also include local multiplayer with up to eight players on Nintendo Switch. The story mode can be played with a friend, allowing players to revive each other. On the other hand, Scout Missions can be played in co-op with up to four players in a team. Annihilation mode is competitive, prompting two teams of four to compete for points, with the stakes doubling towards the end. Interestingly, we hear that a “shocking” new mode will be added after launch, and from the tease we see, it appears to involve people getting eaten alive. Attack on Titan 2 Gets New Trailer Showing Town Life and Features
Today Koei Tecmo released a brand new trailer for its upcoming anime-inspired action game Attack on Titan 2. The trailer showcases what we’ll be able to do in town between missions, getting to know established characters and interacting with them. Apparently, we’ll even be able to customize their appearance in a limited way through different clothes and hairstyles. Other relevant activities are the ability to administer the regiment’s provisions and equipment, helping with titan research, and more. Attack on Titan 2 Interview — Developers Talk Nintendo Switch, Gameplay, IP, and More
Koei Tecmo will soon bring a new chapter of the Attack on Titan franchise to consoles and PC with Attack on Titan 2. In order to know more, DualShockers had a chat with Koei Tecmo President and Chief Operating Officer Hisashi Koinuma (who is also working on the game as Producer), and Omega Force Manager Hideo Suzuki. First of all, we heard why the publisher decided to extend the release to the Nintendo Switch. According to Koinuma-san, one big challenge of working on beloved anime title is to make them as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. The first game had a portable version on PS Vita, even if it was never released in the west. For the second game, the company looked at the availability of the hardware on the market and made an effort to reach the broadest demographic possible.
