The Call of Duty franchise is known for its annual releases as well as its standard Season Pass DLC model. When purchasing a new title’s season pass, players mostly know that they will get access to about four content drops over the course of the year, with each of these drops consisting mainly of multiplayer and zombie maps along with a few other items. However, if a recently leaked image is true, it seems as if this model will soon change with the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. GamingIntel has leaked an EB Games promotional image for the Black Ops 4 Specialist Edition, which will include the game, a 5” statue, a custom steel case and 1100 in COD points, along with bonus digital items. Notably absent is a season pass, which is usually standard with each Call of Duty title’s collector’s edition. While both Activision and Treyarch have yet to comment on the image, GamingIntel states that exclusive sources have told them that Treyarch is pushing to release a … [Read more...] about Black Ops 4 Will Feature Zombies DLC Season Pass?

BATTLEFIELD fans don't have long to wait to find out what the 2018 iteration of the franchise, Battlefield V, will bring. Publisher Electronic Arts has confirmed that a Battlefield announcement on 23 May that gamers discovered through a lengthy in-game Easter egg hunt in Battlefield 1 will be a full reveal for the twelfth game in the series -- and that the game is coming "soon". Fortnite Gun Game sounds like the recipe for ultimate enjoyment, to me at least. Having players encouraged to play aggressively, as they make their way through the weapon ranks, earning a new gun with each kill, would be an awesome way to deter campers and force everyone to keep on moving. Gun Game levels the battlefield with all players working their way through the same set of weapons. However, with Fortnite, building is thrown into the mix, and that will be the factor that separates the master builders from the average DIYer. Fortnite Gun Game Limited Time Mode If Fortnite Gun Game sounds like a hoot to you, you'll be happy to hear that Epic Games has confirmed that a "progressive weapon loadout" limited time mode is "on the list." Posting on Reddit, Epic Games' EpicDustyDevo said that the mode would probably feature the storm coming in early to keep everyone together, and that respawns could be flipped on. The order of the weapon cycle was also discussed. … [Read more...] about Fortnite Gun Game Is “On the List” of Upcoming Limited Time Modes
Martin Wahlund is the CEO and co-founder of Swedish game developer Fatshark. Martin was also CEO and co-founder of game engine developer Bitsquid acquired by Autodesk in 2014. When we first started Fatshark, a lot of talented developers were leaving the industry because of a lack of work-life balance, so we wanted to create a home for experienced developers looking for more normal hours. We started out as a team of subcontractors helping companies with programming on AAA titles, and then took on self-published titles. Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is our first big project, and it’s exactly the type of game we want to continue developing – a first-person multiplayer with RPG elements and melee combat. As passionate fans of the Warhammer Fantasy IP, our team always wanted to create a Warhammer game – one that would stay true to the beautifully dark atmosphere of the world but also from a first-person perspective. Our idea for the game came in 2003, … [Read more...] about Postmortem: Fatshark’s Warhammer: End Times
Bethesda has treated the Nintendo Switch very well so far, with high profile ports of Skyrim and DOOM bringing in plenty of mature action to Nintendo’s portable console. The company revealed via Twitter today that this trend is continuing in good health, as Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is officially being ported over to the Nintendo Switch in partnership with Panic Button. The studio has already aided developers by porting over both DOOM and Rocket League, making Panic Button a suitable studio for porting Wolfenstein 2.
