In an update on the Waypoint site, community writer Alex Wakeford explained that 343 will be renaming Season Points as Spartan Points and is looking into adding a new form of microtransactions. Season of the Haunted has officially entered its second month of action, and like previous weeks, there's a whole bunch of new seasonal challenges to tackle from today inside of Destiny 2. For week five, the next part of the Sever storyline has kicked in now that Guardians have helped Zavala and Crow come to terms with some of their trauma. Nightmare Containment is the place to be for one of these new challenges, while Guardians who happen to be skilled with their Solar subclass can earn more experience in the Crucible while chasing the Sunburn task. There's also a new machine gun to acquire, and for Leviathan Reaper, you can find plenty of Nightmares to take out in the EDZ for a quick completion of that part of the challenge. In a new "fireside chat," EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said the company is expected to announce its biggest-ever Q1, which runs April-June. EA said in May that it expects to make $5.525 billion in revenue and a profit of $978 million for the period, which is a record for Q1, but Jorgensen said that the real numbers will be even bigger than that. The full numbers will be announced during EA's earnings report on July 30, but Jorgensen said today, "What I will tell you is it has been much stronger than we anticipated." Amid huge losses in subscribers and results allegedly negatively impacted by password-sharing , Netflix will soon be joining the other streaming services that offer an ad-supported tier. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Netflix's co-CEO Ted Sarandos revealed at the Cannes Lions advertising festival that the company intends to roll out the new tier by the end of 2022. "We've left a big customer segment off the table, which is people who say: 'Hey, Netflix is too expensive for me and I don't mind advertising,'" Sarandos said. "We [are] adding an ad tier; we're not adding ads to Netflix as you know it today. We're adding an ad tier for folks who say, 'Hey, I want a lower price and I'll watch ads.'"
