343 Industries has confirmed that it is exploring the idea of adding microtransactions to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. In an update on the Waypoint site, community writer Alex Wakeford explained that 343 will be renaming Season Points as Spartan Points and is looking into adding a new form of microtransactions. "For players who are new to the MCC, or who may not have dedicated much time specifically to unlocking items during the seasonal updates, or are simply completionists looking to catch the last outstanding items they need, we are internally exploring a potential new feature for the future in the form of purchasable Spartan Points," Wakeford wrote on Waypoint . The new system is described as being an "optional, additive alternative" for players and is being designed as a way for people to either skip the grind of obtaining items or be given the option to purchase the ones that they want. Season of the Haunted has officially entered its second month of action, and like previous weeks, there's a whole bunch of new seasonal challenges to tackle from today inside of Destiny 2. For week five, the next part of the Sever storyline has kicked in now that Guardians have helped Zavala and Crow come to terms with some of their trauma. Nightmare Containment is the place to be for one of these new challenges, while Guardians who happen to be skilled with their Solar subclass can earn more experience in the Crucible while chasing the Sunburn task. There's also a new machine gun to acquire, and for Leviathan Reaper, you can find plenty of Nightmares to take out in the EDZ for a quick completion of that part of the challenge. As usual, you'll gain a substantial amount of experience for completing seasonal challenges. Call of Duty: Warzone's new Fortune's Keep map, which was added as part of the big season 4 update this week, has an Easter egg that lets you summon a loot-filled zombie when you "pay respect" to an old meme. As detailed in a video from TheGamingRevolution, there's a little ritual you need to perform to summon Warzone's new meme zombie. If you find a few seconds of peace in-between making mince meat out of operators with the newly buffed NZ-41 rifle, you can light five candles around the graveyard area of the Fortune's Keep map. That'll unlock a prompt at a specific headstone that lets you "press F (or whatever your controller's equivalent is) to pay respects."
