If you were lucky enough to play the Specialist tutorials in Black Ops 4, you are not so lucky this time. According to leaks and sources, the Specialists mode will not be coming to Modern Warfare 4. Moreover, the Battle Royale mode won’t be a part of the upcoming game either. Although, Battle Royale modes has become mainstream in the last couple of years. However, people are not that bummed about the removal of the Specialists mode. The game developing studio Treyarch is trying to create a ‘Barebones playlist’. This will allow the players to have the old School Call of Duty experience but without the Specialists restrictive skillsets. Moreover, in the beginning, the Specialists mode introduction was made to compensate for the lack of campaign mode. With different characters having different skillset and abilities, the mode had a striking resemblance to Overwatch. People were anticipating the Blackout mode, and the removal of the mode from the game is definitely a … [Read more...] about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Is Basic, Classic Call of Duty With Battle Royale and Specialists

Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer will, reportedly, not feature any form of battle royale mode or specialist characters. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is rumored to be the next entry in the series. The report states that the game will not include a variation of Black Ops 4 Blackout mode. Blackout was Call of Duty’s first foray into the battle royale genre. Along with a lack of a battle royale mode, the report by Gaming INTEL‘s unnamed sources claims Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer will do away with specialists. The Call of Duty series has included characters with varying abilities since Black Ops 3, but in Black Ops 4 they chose to introduce a “Barebones” playlist to appease players who prefer a Call of Duty experience of old. A lack of specialist characters will see Modern Warfare 4 return to this style in its entirely, allowing players to use soldiers who begin on equal footing. If you were one of the 2.5% of people who got ultra rare achievement to play all of the Specialist tutorials in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, I have bad news: the mode isn’t coming to Modern Warfare 4 according to Gaming Intel’s sources. Rumours say that Battle Royale mode isn’t making a comeback either, marking Treyarch’s surprise detour from one of the biggest trends to hit the gaming world in the last couple of years. Ok, so the supposed lack of Specialists in Modern Warfare 4 might not be that much of a surprise, as Treyarch has had to create a Barebones playlist that caters players who don’t want to play as Specialists but still want those Call of Duty experiences of old without being restricted to one particular set of abilities. Although when they were first introduced the Specialists looked like they might be a substitute for the lack of story campaign thanks to their unmistakable characters and skillsets, kind of like Overwatch, there’s no … [Read more...] about Modern Warfare 4 won’t have Specialists or Battle Royale, claim sources
“Everything else is just a walking simulator” is just one example of the bug-eyed posturing with which Skybound Games announce Notmycar, their attempt to snaffle a piece of Fort-Legs pie with a free-to-play, automotive-based battle royale. Notmycar takes the attitude that, if the car-wrecks don’t bring all the boys to the yard, maybe being massively obnoxious will. “Are you tired of the same games day in and day out?”, reads the YouTube blurb. Uh, the whole world says no? Still: I dig the concept. Hold your nose and give this a watch: This sneering, chest-puffing tack is a shame, as melding the trend of the moment with a destruction derby is pretty solid concept. I’ve always enjoyed cars-wot-shoot, and being made of multi-tonne metal might just be an effective remedy for batroyale-curious types who are wary of getting ritually insta-murdered in the head from half a mile away. If Notmycar can leave the cod-macho posturing at the marketing strategy … [Read more...] about Notmycar is battle royale but with gun-toting cars and a tiresome attitude

Battle Pass, for those who don't know, was an in-game purchase that allowed players to level up faster and earn more cosmetic items for Epic’s free-to-play Battle Royale mode. But the denouement of season 2 heralds in the new dawn of season 3, and introduces a brand new Battle Pass for Fortnite later this week. Epic has done its research, and has created something bigger, better, and more cost-effective for this new season of Battle Royale, with more tiers and a wider range of goodies to unlock, most of which have never been seen in the game before. The Battle Pass will have a total of 100 tiers to progress through, which is 30 more than last season, but Epic has confirmed that it’ll still take around the same amount of time (roughly 75 - 150 … [Read more...] about Fortnite: Battle Royale kicks off season 3 with a bigger, better Battle Pass filled with spacesuits, skydiving trails, and… loading screens?!
