Bethesda officially revealed its upcoming Fallout 76 during Xbox press conference confirming it to be a prequel to all Fallout games and is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Not only that, Fallout 76 is also 4 times bigger compared to Fallout 4 which makes it the biggest Fallout games ever. As you can see in the trailer, Fallout 76 is a single-player title. The game is set in the hills of West Virginia. The game features Vault 76, players will take on the role of one of the lucky ones to become the occupant of Vault 76. Visually, the game looks much more polished and detailed compared to Fallout 4. According to Bethesda, new rendering and lightning techniques allows for 16 times more detail compared to Fallout 4. Many modern video games have a multiplayer component, and some of those games rely on servers hosted by the developer, publisher, and/or the console manufacturer depending on how things have been set up. There inevitably comes a point where someone makes the call to have those servers shut down whether it’s due to the financial costs or a dwindling community. Four games for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita are having their multiplayer servers closed down in the coming months. When PC players logged onto Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain over the weekend, they witnessed a cutscene that seemed like it would never come. While the nuclear disarmament event seems as unlikely as a Metal Gear character appearing in Death Stranding, it nevertheless triggered, but it wasn’t supposed to happen. For those unfamiliar, the nuclear disarmament event was an official metagame ending that revolved around removing every nuclear weapon in the game’s online servers. Considering the hard-fought meta-conflict in the game, the event never seemed likely, as periodic reports showed that several nukes still existed in the game. However, a glitch with the Steam version of the game triggered the event. The cutscene boldly and ironically declared, “the last nuke’s been decommissioned. It’s over, Boss. Long story short: that million-dollar war...wasn't a million-dollar war. It was actually a $10,000 hiccup (someone on Imgur actually did the maths). For those of you who want tales of massive explosions and daring exploits by maverick pilots, you're going to want to look somewhere else. Despite a record 6,000 players fighting in the same star system, the Keepstar (a large Citadel) being attacked by The Imperium survived the onslaught and there was only about $10,000 of damage. Largely thanks to server issues. Because EVE Online players share a single universe, when a huge amount of them occupy the same space TiDi (Time Dilation) is kicked into effect. Basically, time has to be slowed down to cope with the massive amount of people all trying to execute their own commands simultaneously.
