Home • PC Game Hardware • 103 Vote now for your bestest best mouse Katharine Castle Hardware Editor 18th November 2019 / 12:00PM We all have our favourite gaming mice. For me, it’s a toss up between the Logitech G Pro Wireless and the ever so lovely Roccat Kain 120, both of which have been sitting proudly atop my best gaming mouse rankings ever since I tested them earlier in the year. But chances are that there’s a piece of plastic gripped between your clawed fingers that just feels right to you, and I want to know what it is. There’s always going to be way more great mice out there than I’ll ever be able to review myself, so take to the comments below and explain why your clicker is better than all the others. We want to celebrate the mice you love most, so if you could include a couple of sentences about why you think your mouse is the best mouse, then please go right ahead. It will be helpful to see what you value most in a … [Read more...] about RPS Asks: What’s your favourite gaming mouse?

Home • PC Game Hardware • 22 In sync with your budget Katharine Castle Hardware Editor 17th November 2017 / 10:00AM Take one look at the AOC G2460PF’s price of £170 (at time of writing) and you’d probably think it was a pretty standard kind of display. After all, 24in Full HD monitor prices often start around the £100-200 mark, and you can find several screens around the same £170 mark that don’t have anything to shout about other than a mildly adjustable stand. AOC’s G2460PF, however, is anything but ordinary, and it’s one of the best gaming monitors around. Despite its low price, this monitor has a 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync support, plus a height-adjustable and rotatable stand. It’s not overly garish, either, as the only concession it makes to being a so-called ‘gaming monitor’ is a thin red strip that runs along the lower bezel. Otherwise, you can happily put this on any kind … [Read more...] about AOC G2460PF review: Superb 144Hz gaming for £170

Home • PC Game News • Borderlands 3 • 4 Matt Cox Staff Writer 20th September 2019 / 11:32AM If you’ve been bumming about Borderlands 3 with a handful of stuttering frames to your name, I have some underwhelming news. Developers Gearbox have released a hotfix that “does not include issues that the community is immediately concerned with”, along with a statement to say they’re working on those. They’ve also posted a list of (possibly) helpful tips to help with framerates and deal with saves if they’re still not working after Monday’s save-specific hotfix. (Psst. Just turn cloud saves off.) It makes sense to push out fixes when they’re ready, and Gearbox are obviously far too huge for any suggestion that they’re not prioritising the biggest problems. At the same time, I do appreciate that it might be a little galling to have a broken game on your hands and read a patch note about how “yellow … [Read more...] about Borderlands 3 hot fix fixes little, Gearbox say actual fixes are on the way
