In a new interview, actor Norman Reedus has shared some very preliminary first details about his upcoming The Walking Dead spin-off centered on his character, Daryl Dixon. Until April this year, the show was expected to center on Daryl and Melissa McBride's character, Carol Peletier, but she abruptly exited the show over "creative differences." "I'm gonna go on a mission and I’m excited," Reedus told Sirius XM's Jose Mangin on Octane . "It's gonna be much different than [The Walking Dead]. I think it's gonna look different. It's gonna feel different. It's kind of its own thing, you know, so I'm excited to get a hold of it." Check out the full interview excerpt below--on the plus side, this interview was also captured on video, which means you can see clearly that Reedus seems just fine after being temporarily sidelined by a "minor" concussion while on the show's set back in March . Reedus further elaborated that he isn't being intentionally coy about the spin-off. There … [Read more...] about The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus Promises Daryl Spin-Off Will “Feel Different”

The free Bugsnax DLC serves up a tasty helping that leaves my heart feeling full
If you've spent time on Snaktooth Island in Bugsnax , then chances are you're already well acquainted with Bunger. The beetle-like, burger-shaped Bugsnak complete with curly fries for legs and horns is a favorite of mine… but right now I'm seeing one that's unlike any I've come across before. This one is absolutely massive. The supersized Bugsnak looks right at me with its large googly eyes and I watch as it waddles around on its giant tater tot legs. I take a moment to appreciate the rest of its design, with a body that's formed of several stacked-up meat patties, slices of cheese, and lettuce that are all wedged between a bun and a wrapper. There's no mistaking it. This is no ordinary Bunger. No, this is a very big Bunger Royale. This giant, overstuffed Bunger, gives me my first proper taste of the new Isle of Bigsnax update that has recently been added to Young Horses' delicious adventure on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. After Snorpy and Chandlo … [Read more...] about The free Bugsnax DLC serves up a tasty helping that leaves my heart feeling full

We took a hard look at every mainline entry and compiled a list of the best Pokemon games, ranked from not very effective to super effective. You'll notice that we've included a pair of Switch games that deviate from the overarching systems of the typical Pokemon RPG. Evil Dead: Level, XP, And Spirit Points Guide
One of the issues that seems to plague horror-based asymmetrical games is balancing. This is evident at both a basic level--concerning the strength of survivors vs. a boss-like character--and progression. Evil Dead: The Game, though not without its faults, mitigates some of this by using multiple leveling systems. Evil Dead: The Game’s different leveling systems aren’t revolutionary in scope. The difference comes in how each system is utilized. In this guide below, we explain how each of these systems work and how they’re used in conjunction with one another to keep things balanced. Character progression Evil Dead’s main leveling system is progression-based, allowing characters to be upgraded using experience points earned during matches. Want to unlock the Army of Darkness Ash’s best perks? Play as him in matches and win or lose, you’ll eventually unlock all of his passive abilities. To unlock these passives, you’d first have to gain enough XP to unlock skill points. Then from … [Read more...] about Evil Dead: Level, XP, And Spirit Points Guide
Dawn Of Ragnarok DLC Needed To Be Included In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Says Ubisoft
Assassin's Creed is nothing if not a very large franchise, with annual mainline releases from 2009-2015. In recent years, Ubisoft has stretched out the lifespan of individual Assassin's Creed games with multiple lengthy post-launch expansions--2018's Odyssey and 2020's Valhalla have dozens of hours of post-launch content. Both Odyssey and Valhalla recently got new chapters to their respective narratives with Crossover Stories (in which, sadly, Eivor and Kassandra don't flirt ), and Valhalla is set to get a massive 35-hour Dawn of Ragnarök DLC in 2022. At 35 hours, Dawn of Ragnarök is one of the biggest Assassin's Creed DLCs to date (if not the biggest). At that length, it's practically another game, and given that it sees you playing as Havi, an "ancestor" of Eivor, you could argue it basically is. So that begs the question: Why is Dawn of Ragnarök an expansion? In the past, Ubisoft would have made something like this an entirely new game ( Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag 's … [Read more...] about Dawn Of Ragnarok DLC Needed To Be Included In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Says Ubisoft
Doctor Strange 2 Passes $500 Million At The Box Office Ahead Of Second Weekend
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness continues to soar at the box office, recently passing $500 million at the global box office as the superhero film heads into its second weekend. The sequel has made $222.75 million in the US and $309.8 million from international markets for a total global result of $532.5 million so far. The movie is not expected to be able to match its first-weekend performance this coming weekend, but the film's solid B+ CinemaScore rating suggests word-of-mouth is trending in the right direction to help second-weekend numbers stay strong. In the Multiverse of Madness blasted off to $185 million US and $450 million for its worldwide total after its first weekend. For comparison, 2016's original Doctor Strange made $85 million in the US for its opening weekend, ending its run with $232 million domestically and $677 million worldwide. The sequel reportedly had a mighty budget of $200 million to produce, and that does not count what are surely very … [Read more...] about Doctor Strange 2 Passes $500 Million At The Box Office Ahead Of Second Weekend
Overwatch 2 Will Make Mercy’s Secret Super Jump Ability More Approachable
Blizzard is continuing to make adjustments to Overwatch 2's PvP mode based on beta feedback, and one major change that is currently being tested internally revolves around making one of Mercy's "hidden" abilities more approachable to average players. That ability is Mercy's super jump. As Blizzard says in its own blog post , "the full potential of Mercy is not unlocked until you've learned the techniques that accompany her kit--particularly the 'super jump.'" The issue is that you currently won't find information on how to super jump in-game, leading to many casual players not even knowing of its existence. While there are plenty of YouTube tutorials and articles detailing the optimal way to fling Mercy high into the air, greatly increasing her mobility in the process, it's still a slightly complicated combination of crouching, using her Guardian Angel ability, and jumping that isn't exactly user friendly. Blizzard wants to change that, stating that it wants to make Mercy's … [Read more...] about Overwatch 2 Will Make Mercy’s Secret Super Jump Ability More Approachable
Blizzard Outlines Major Overwatch 2 Changes For Doomfist And Orisa
Blizzard has outlined all the ways heroes Doomfist and Orisa are changing for Overwatch 2 ahead of the game's upcoming PvP beta on PC , and the reworks seem set to mix up the game's meta in a big way. As was previously announced, Doomfist is now a tank, and will receive more health and a defensive ability in the form of Power Block to better align with his new role. Power Black is a new ability that emits a small frontal barrier that, when used to absorb attacks, increases the power of Doomfist's Rocket Punch ability. Though the base version of Rocket Punch will deal less damage than its current version, charging it up with Power Block will allow it to travel farther, faster, and deal even more damage. Doomfist's Uppercut ability has been removed entirely, but his Seismic Slam ability will now function like Winston's Leap skill. Upon landing after using Seismic Slam, Doomfist will deal damage and slow nearby enemies. His ultimate, Meteor Strike, is receiving a few changes too, … [Read more...] about Blizzard Outlines Major Overwatch 2 Changes For Doomfist And Orisa

Meet the Fortnite creator who’s rebuilt the Resident Evil mansion with chilling accuracy
On the face of it, Fortnite and Resident Evil couldn't be more different. Sure, Epic Games and Capcom came together for an official collaboration ahead of Halloween last year – which brought Resi-themed character models, back bling and pickaxes to the Island – but visually, tonally, thematically, and conceptually both games are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Right? Officially, yes. Unofficially, one fan-driven project has closed the gap considerably. I consider myself a pretty accomplished Resident Evil player. I spent the summer of 1996 running scared around the Spencer Mansion before graduating to the RPD HQ a couple of years later. The mere thought of fleeing Nemesis kept me up at night at the turn of the millennium, and I've revelled in every far-fetched tale the series has spun since – from Leon S. Kennedy's jaunt to rural Spain, through to Ethan Winters' ill-fated escape to Eastern Europe. And yet, I discovered one of my all-time favourite Resident Evil experiences … [Read more...] about Meet the Fortnite creator who’s rebuilt the Resident Evil mansion with chilling accuracy
