As everyone knows, Fortnite is a huge success and it’s making crazy money from its in-game microtransactions which include skins and dance emotes. These in-game emotes are mostly the dance moves created by big hip-hop artists and surprisingly without their permissions. Finally, Rapper 2 Milly has taken it to the court to sue Epic Games. Fortnite makes huge loads of money by selling these emotes but it looks like they are finally in trouble because of selling the one which looks like rapper 2 Milly‘s signature move. The rapper claims that Epic Games has ripped off his famous “Milly Rock” dance move by turning into an emote and now selling it for money. Epic Games’ Fortnite is one of the most popular games available right now, and has sparked massive growth for the developer. As part of this growth and expansion, Epic Games is planning to open new development studios in Australia and New Zealand that are spearheaded by former Game Developers Association of Australia (GDAA) CEO Tony Reed. According to GamesIndustry.biz, Tony Reed made this announcement at the closing of Game Connect Asia Pacific. He’s served as CEO of the GDAA for nine years, but decided to resign so the GDAA could be led by someone with new ideas and a fresh look on things. This claim has been later debunked by one of his employees with a moving post on Twitter. The story was like this, Bleszinski has posted an accusation on Twitter, claiming that Epic Games is hiring away members of his team. While this looks like a harsh accusation, the argument has remained unchallenged for many days. The co-op sandbox survival video game developed by Epic Games, Fortnite, recently hit a 3.4 million concurrent player mark. So it will be not surprising if the company wants to step up the level in regards to this game and stepped up they have; Epic Games has announced that they will be rolling out an optional 60FPS mode of Fortnite for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The optional 60FPS mode of Fortnite will roll out later this month for PS4 and Xbox One as well as for PS4Pro and Xbox One X. Epic Games has confirmed that the 60FPS mode is being tuned for each console to maximize the frame rate while letting it not influence the visual quality. Epic Games has moved some employees off of its Paragon MOBA in order to assist on Fortnite, according to a statement made on Reddit. In an unusually candid letter to its community, a representative from Epic said that the future of Paragon was uncertain at this time. “Our efforts have always been focused on growing the game,” Epic said. “While each of [Paragon’s] incarnations has been beloved by a core community, none has been large enough to achieve mainstream success. This, combined with the humbling success of Fortnite has caused us to question if we have a good path to grow Paragon and make it thrive.” Paragon has been in active development for some time, and was released into early access in March 2016.
