Loba is lifeLoba is a fantastic addition to Apex Legends who immediately shook up casual gameplay and the high-tier competitive meta. And that's saying something, as the last two legends to drop into the arena, Crypto and Revenant, sit pretty low on most player's tier lists and aren't really must-have members of any team. Loba has a unique combination of support and attack abilities that offer her unparalleled map movement (especially in the face of Pathfinder's nerf) and a tactical advantage that's crucial in sticky situations. … [Read more...] about Apex Legends season 5 makes the battle royale even better, but the PvE content needs some work

Mentioning “moving fast”, Beauverger confirms that the skill I saw being used in the demo at the Focus What’s Next Showcase is a viable combat option. Vampires have evolved way beyond jumping, instead turning into clouds of black smoke and rushing towards their target, invulnerable whilst moving at this great speed. To affect your foes without drawing your pistol, you can also mesmerise them and take control of minds. We’ve already seen this in the demo, as you can use the skill to lead a victim away into the dark where you can feast on them. Witnessing this in combat, however, would be fascinating - could you turn them against their friends? Send them into a frenzy? Beauverger wouldn’t let anything else slip about the potential of mesmerising, so we’ll have to wildly speculate for now. … [Read more...] about Stop it Vampyr, you’re bloody spoiling us: 4 types of vampire (so far) and 3 ways to rip people apart?!
"I lived the video game curse, because I made Doom," Johnson said, laughing. "And Doom was a movie based off a very popular video game and was incredibly unsuccessful. So I lived the curse, and I experienced it." Forearmed with that knowledge (also huge, muscular forearms, but that's beside the point), Johnson's first step in warding off the curse was unsurprising: make sure everything's "buttoned up" on the monster movie side with a good script and earth-shaking giant creatures designed by Weta. … [Read more...] about “I lived the video game curse” – The Rock talks Doom and making sure Rampage doesn’t suck
"The numbers are quite straightforward, " he continued, "If you say in broad brush figures that we have a community of 100 million PS4 owners right now, and in the first couple of years... I don't know, somewhere between 15 and 25 million might migrate to PS5, that still leaves a huge number of people with PS4s. And that community is demonstrating an amazing stickiness, and willingness to stay engaged that, I think, the events of the past few months have just reinforced what we knew already." … [Read more...] about Sony says it has no interest in making its PS5 games compatible with PS4
Eridium is a purple currency found in Borderlands 2 used for buying equipment upgrades. It mainly enables you to carry more ammo, which is pretty important in game that is 99% about shooting things. Eridium is much rarer than cash, but you can get a decent chunk of Eridium early on by playing the slot machines at Mad Moxxi’s bar. It’s fairly cheap to play these when you’re low level, while regular cash isn’t in short supply on Pandora, as we already mentioned. … [Read more...] about Make quick cash and become a badass in Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
