Days Gone is coming to PC this Spring and the game's Steam Page has listed more information about the new features coming with it. First and foremost, the Steam page confirms that Days Gone PC will launch with ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates and improved graphics, the latter of which bring "increased level of details, the field of view [and] foliage draw distances". The PC version of the game will also come with all the previously-released DLC, as well as having a New Game Plus option and the challenging Survivor mode to tackle. It looks like Challenge Mode will be present as well. While the Steam page simply lists "Bike Skins" as a feature, we don't know if they will be new or different ones from the PS4 version. The PS4 version of the game didn't launch with all these DLC features but they were added to the game for free post-launch. Other than this information, the Steam page doesn't have much else to tell us about any other new features which might come … [Read more...] about Days Gone PC comes with all previous DLC, unlocked framerates, and improved graphics

Stardew Valley co-op: How to start your farm with a friend in online and split screen multiplayer
Stardew Valley co-op now comes in two very different flavours since the latest update from ConcernedApe. The Stardew Valley 1.5 update which is now available on consoles and PC and adds what feels like an entirely new game, also brings split screen co-op to Pelican Town. This means that you and a like-minded farming friend can settle down together on the same sofa to work together on the ultimate agricultural metropolis. You head to the mines and we’ll stay here and plant more potatoes… Don’t worry though, nothing has changed from the original online Stardew Valley co-op experience. You can still host your farm online with cabins, make the most of the specific multiplayer farm map Four Corners, marry your fellow players, and enjoy all the new additions that come with the 1.5 update. Ostriches, anyone? Here’s everything you need to know about Stardew Valley co-op in both its forms. How to play co-op online in Stardew Valley There's two ways to play multiplayer in Stardew … [Read more...] about Stardew Valley co-op: How to start your farm with a friend in online and split screen multiplayer
To fight bugs, Stonefly demands you become a giant robot bug
I love mechs. But I also love a good bug. Thankfully, with Stonefly, I don't have to choose between the two, with a first look at Flight School Studio's chill action-adventure showing off some delightfully insectoid robots to kick about in. Something wonderfully catastrophic must've happened while I wasn't looking, because humanity's been shrunk to the size of ants. To get around this, folks get around in bug-like mechs. As one of these pilots, you'll be cobbling together your own machine to hunt down your dad's lost mech—reworking and rebuilding your robot to suit whatever challenge faces you. I do adore these robotic battlemechs, too. It's such a delightful approach to killer robots, creating mechanical multilegged beasties that skitter and crawl over the game's world. Adding new components at your tent will give your rig new abilities, and improve your survivability in more dangerous environments. Of course, you're not the only bug in town. But rather than just blasting up … [Read more...] about To fight bugs, Stonefly demands you become a giant robot bug

This huge badger from Baldur’s Gate 3 belongs everywhere
Earlier today I shared a screenshot with my PC Gamer pals of a badger taking a wee rest in Baldur's Gate 3 . It quickly spiralled into an obsession that has taken up the rest of the day and filled our Slack with badgers, courtesy of Nat, Chris, James and Andy Kelly. Here are the fruits of this obsession. Welcome to The Badger Zone Finally, a friend for sad Keanu. Don't worry mate, we actually thought you were pretty good in Cyberpunk! The badger is mostly a Ross, but after a few drinks he's definitely a Joey. Badgers are actually excellent builders, using their sharp teeth to saw through trees that they then add to their elaborate dams. It's pretty tricky, which is why they use their distinctive tails to help them balance. How industrious! "Hey you, you're finally awake." I bet Alan Moore would love this. OK, this time I'll give you a real badger fact. Or at least lore from a fantasy universe. There is actually a house in A Song of Ice and Fire, House Lydden , … [Read more...] about This huge badger from Baldur’s Gate 3 belongs everywhere
