Now, it looks as if the American technology firm Google could be looking to throw its hat into the ring when it comes to the practice, as the company is rumored to be working on its own game streaming service under the code name “Yeti”. Viz Media (best known for publishing manga) announced its collaboration with Portland-based indie studio Rose City Games to create The World Next Door, the company's first foray into publishing video games. According to a press release, Viz Media will be focusing on what it calls “original, narrative-driven games,” and developers should also be aware that the company is “accepting publishing inquiries from developers with games at all stages of production." Described as a magic-infused, aesthetic-driven adventure game, The World Next Door seems to be Rose City Games' first big development project. Following the reveal of the top-twenty sales chart related to last week on Wednesday, Media Create released today its weekly analysis, giving further information on the performance of Monster Hunter World in the country. The game was sold locally only for PS4, so the data listed below does not involve the Xbox One version. We learn that the game sold 92.07% of the initial shipment, which means that it came very close to selling out. It also pushed total software sales so much that they were over three times higher compared to the prior week. Compared to earlier chapters of the series, its 1,245,169 units sold in a week are about 1.5 times the debut of Monster Hunter XX for 3DS (848,000 units). Asus will be pursuing an important quest this year to dominate the expansive esports market of China. This journey has reportedly begun with the company investing $16 million into the creation of an esports subsidiary in the country. “Huajing Culture Media” will serve as the base of operations for the Taiwan-based electronics conglomerate as it focuses on boosting its annual revenue stream from China in the months to come. The newly formed esports headquarter has also launched an esports team called Rogue Warriors that will field a roster to compete in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) this year.
