Denuvo DRM started to face problems when crackers figured out how to bypass it and crack video games that were using it. Now Denuvo has taken a legal action against the popular video game cracker, Voksi, which resulted in the arrest of the aforementioned video game cracker. Voksi took it to CrackWatch, a subreddit dedicated to cracked games, Voksi explained the sudden outage of his website. According to Voksi, police has raided his house for his equipment following the complaint filed by Irdeto, the company that bought Denuvo earlier this year. GAMERS have been warned to avoid deals on PC games that seem too good to be true after several offers on the site were exposed. Recent games which normally sell for around £30 were being sold for around £3, but investigation by several Internet users posting on Reddit revealed that the copies were faulty - and pirated. The digital download, sold by Amazon Digital Services, turned out to be a copy of the game bought from reputable game-seller gog.com then repackaged by a third party. This meant that the game couldn't be uninstalled easily, wouldn't receive patches and updates and, of course, that none of the money paid for it went to the game's developer. Internet sleuth CodependentlyWealthy said they "decided to pay $3 to play detective" and bought a copy of "society survival game" Frostpunk that was on sale for a suspiciously low price.
