Crackdown 3 date de sortie
Crackdown 3 will finally, actually, for real be released on Feb. 15, 2019, publisher Microsoft Studios announced Saturday. The game will be available on Windows PC and Xbox One, and since it’s part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, customers who buy either version will be able to play the other at no additional cost. The same applies for Xbox Game Pass subscribers — Crackdown 3, like all of Microsoft’s first-party exclusives, will be included in the Game Pass library at launch. Microsoft announced another freebie at X018: From now until Nov. 30, anybody can download the original Crackdown, which debuted in February 2007 on Xbox 360, for free. Earlier this year, Microsoft added Xbox One X enhancements to the game — it runs in 4K on the high-end console via backward compatibility. An Inside Xbox episode broadcast live from X018 in Mexico City featured a new trailer for Crackdown 3 that focused on the game’s competitive multiplayer mode, Wrecking Zone. … [Read more...] about Crackdown 3 dated for mid-February 2019
As was reported earlier, Microsoft has confirmed that the Crackdown 3 delay is, indeed, real. In a recent statement, the console maker said the game will now be launching in February 2019. The cited reason was to "ensure we deliver the experience [the fans] deserve." Microsoft said that they will share more details about the game at their E3 briefing on Sunday at 1 pm PST. Microsoft gave the statement to Windows Central earlier today. The new date will give the team over at Sumo Digital more time to polish and add extra features, according to Microsoft. While a delayed game always leads to a better experience, it puts Microsoft in a peculiar situation. Microsoft has yet to hit some sort of consistent stride with the Xbox One and have a ubiquitous hit this year. Sea of Thieves, while seeing multiple updates, launched to lukewarm critical reception. And while said updates are good for the game, they also seem like a rush to fix the game's myriad issues. It is reminiscent of No Man's Sky … [Read more...] about Crackdown 3 Delay Confirmed by Microsoft
In the middle of this fantastic slate of games releasing in the first half of 2018, the one upcoming title I cannot stop thinking about is Crackdown 3. By no means is it my most anticipated game of the year, but it’s one of the titles I’m most intrigued by after its notoriously lengthy development cycle has continued to drag on. What’s made the inevitable release of Crackdown 3 so interesting to me though is that we haven’t heard a word about the game in months. Crackdown 3 was finally slated to release last year day-and-date with the Xbox One X on November 7 but, as we know, it didn’t. It was delayed last August to Spring 2018. As we draw closer to that window, the game’s publisher, Microsoft, and the development team at Sumo Digital have hardly said a word about it other than letting us know that it’ll be available via Xbox Game Pass whenever it does launch. Essentially, Crackdown 3 has gone back to being … [Read more...] about The Silence Surrounding Crackdown 3 is Deafening
