A new Dead by Daylight update is now live on Steam via the game’s Player Test Build (PTB), developer Behaviour Interactive announced. The full patch notes for the update, dubbed 4.6.0 , are outlined below. The update makes some changes to the game, including adding two new characters--the killer Trickster and the survivor Yun-Jin lee--as well as implementing quality-of-life improvements, and putting in more chat features. Update 4.6.0 marks the arrival of Dead By Daylight Chapter 19: All-Kill. At the top of update 4.6.0 are the two new characters: the killer The Trickster and the survivor Yun-Jin Lee. A modder has figured out how to significantly reduce the notoriously long loading times for GTA Online on PC. While the method is still just a proof of concept, it does seem to lead to a sizable improvement. PC Gamer reports that modder tostercx uploaded their fix to GitHub and explained why it works. Essentially, they say, the normal load sequence for GTA runs a new check every time it finds an entry in the 10MB JSON file, leading to almost 2 billion checks. This mod optimizes those processes, which reduced the load times on their own computer by roughly 70%. Tostercx doesn't recommend this mod for casual use, but says it should be possible for Rockstar to implement similar fixes in the actual game. A trademark that Bungie originally filed in 2020 is making the rounds again this week, prompting speculation that the Destiny studio may have plans for its own convention. Bungie's trademark for "BungieCon," which was originally filed in summer 2020 , covers all manner of products, including jewellery, trading cards, pants, and boots, along with something more befitting its name. The Goods & Services description states that BungieCon could apply to the "organizing and conducting [of] fan conventions in the fields of video and computer games." The connection people are making here is that Bungie has plans to hold its own fan convention. This potential idea is further bolstered by the news back in 2017 that Bungie had trademarked "DestinyCon."
